Ant. The Good Shepherd giveth His life for the sheep. My heart and my strength faileth, ty But Thou, God, art the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
LOOK favourably, Lord, we beseech Thee, upon Thy servant [ ], and mercifully grant that, as the health of his body has been impaired by that which Thy good Providence has called him to do, so his spiritual being may be perfected in faith and patience by Thy present discipline of suffering, and that in seclusion from labour, as long as it is Thy good pleasure so to appoint, he may enjoy the closer communion with Thee, Whom he loved to serve and longs to behold; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
