157. For the Commercial Relations of Society.

MOST just and holy God, Who requirest truth in the inward parts, and hast ordained love to be the bond of society, so fill us with truth and love, that in their exercise we may obtain that security of good which no devices of selfinterest can acquire. Pardon the dishonest practices of our age, and grant that we may deal according to that truth wherewith we expect to be judged, and exercise that love wherewith we hope to be pardoned; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
