Fragment: Isaiah 53:11

It may be well to learn that Isaiah 53:11 stands faultily in the A. V. The R. V. rightly gives “and (not “for") He shall bear their iniquities.” The error here was due to “justify” in the preceding clause, which means really as in Daniel 12.,” instruct in righteousness” —Christ's service, and atoning death. Here the R. V. is still wrong.
