I. GODHEAD IN INCARNATION 1. Only one member became flesh.
2. He was Imm anu el. (Matthew 1:23.) 3. Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary . (Luke 1:35.) 4. Mary with child by Holy Spirit. (Matthew 1:18; Matthew 1:20.) 5. Fullness of Godhead in him. (Colossians 2:9.) 6. God and Holy Spirit fully shared in incarnation.
II. FACTS ABOUT THE INCARNATION 1. Jesus begotten of God. (John 1:18; Acts 13:33.) 2. This done through Holy Spirit. (Matthew 1:18.) 3. God sent Christ to the world. (Romans 8:3.) 4. Jesus came of his free will. (Php 2:6-7.) 5. God came in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:19.)
III. AN ANALOGY 1. Same persons in spiritual and material realm.
2. Administration same in both.
3. God originated and planned both.
4. The Word, Christ, the agent in both.
5. Holy Spirit organized and perfected both.
6. Worked with material in one; spirits in other.

IV. HOLY SPIRIT GAVE LAWS FOR SPIRITUAL REALM 1. Christ revealed Father’s will. (John 4:34.) 2. Holy Spirit spoke then through apostles. (John 14:26; Matthew 10:20.) 3. Holy Spirit bears witness of Christ. Uohn 15:26.) 4. Holy Spirit declares things of Christ. (John 16:7-15.) 5. Holy Spirit repeated every word of Christ.
