PREFATORY NOTE The following chapters, forming an appendix are numbered and paged in continuity to those of the body of the work for the sake of simplicity and reference.

Though the subjects are all of a controversial nature, we have endeavoured to make our treatment of them interesting and easily understood. A glance at the table of contents below will show that they are all less or more closely connected with the Tabernacle. We trust our readers will be enabled by what we have advanced to form an independent opinion on the various points in dispute.
