Chapter 4:12. For the word of God, etc. Some, as Stuart and Bloomfield, view "the word" here as minatory, being a threatening to the unbelievers before mentioned. Though it may be so viewed, yet it seems not to be right to translate logos; "threatening," as done by Stuart.
