James, from The Apocryphal New Testament , being the apocryphal gospels, acts, epistles, and apocalypses, with other narratives and fragments, newly translated by Montague Rhodes James (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1924); public domain. The text was read by machine (Mistral OCR) from a scan of the 1924 edition at the Internet Archive and has not been proofread against the printed book. The story of Paul and Thecla and the Third Epistle to the Corinthians are not repeated here, and James’s bracketed restorations of the broken Coptic text are kept as printed.
