The Sixteen Questions

The quotations are taken word for word from the translations credited with each one, which are the public-domain translations used elsewhere in this series; the Works Cited at the end of this part lists them. About one in five was read by machine from a scanned book and is marked “scanned text”. Some works are Wikisource transcriptions licensed CC BY-SA, which we credit here, and one quotation is from the Coptic SCRIPTORIUM translation (CC BY 4.0). The questions, the notes under each quotation, the labels and the summaries of positions were prepared for SermonIndex with the help of artificial intelligence and may be wrong; every quotation was checked by a script against the text of its work. Licence: Public domain (quotations); CC BY-SA 4.0 (notes and essays).
