INTRODUCTION This little book is a presentation of the essential elements of Christian doctrine. It has been prepared at the request of the Commission on Christian Service Training of the Church of the Nazarene and is designed for use in classes in our local churches and in summer institutes where a short course is desired. The author is eminently qualified for his task. In addition to his formal training, he is possessed of a richly mature Christian character and has been for many years a teacher of the truths herein expounded. We commend this book both to the earnest student and to the average reader as one meriting the closest attention.
