11. John 11:25-26. - "Whosoever...Believeth"

"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (25) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" (26) The "whosoever" in John 11:26 is equivalent to "he that" in John 11:25. These verses reveal to us that man's free will and responsibility stand erect on the solid foundation of God's Word as election crumbles on the sinking sands of philosophy. (Colossians 2:8)
