GOOD WORK

There are three ingredients in that which is good in the eyes of God. First of all, it is done by love- the person who does the good work is motivated by love to God and the love for God’s cause and for God’s people. That which inspires him to do good is his love -not love of self -not seeking to bring glory to himself but is motivated by love but it’s good because it is by divine commandment, it is something that God has commanded, but also, it’s for the glory of God. For something to be good in the eyes of God, it must be done by love, it must be done by commandment of God and it must be done to glorify God.
