Si quis diligit mundum, non est caritas Patris in eo: quoniam omne quod in mundo est, concupiscentia carnis est, et concupiscentia oculorum, et superbia vitæ; quæ non est ex Patre, sed ex mundo est. Et mundus transibit et concupiscentia eius: qui autem facit voluntatem Dei, manet in eternum.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
