1. “I am too great a sinner.”

Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief:

1Ti 1:15 For while we were yet weak, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. . . . But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:6; Rom 5:8

Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isa 1:18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 To him bear all the prophets witness, that through his name every one that believeth on him shall receive remission of sins.

Acts 10:43 For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.

Luk 19:10 All that which the Father giveth me shall come unto me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

John 6:37
