CONFESSION – 02 – What Promises Are Attached to It?

      "The good confession" is unto life eternal, Paul says (1 Timothy 6:12). It is "unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10). The Apostle John says, "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abideth in him, and he in God" (1 John 4:15). We have the word of our Savior, "Every one who shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God" (Luke 12:8; cf. Matthew 10:32). The importance and blessedness of this confession stand revealed. Pages of comment could not add to the clearness of these words.
