WOMAN’S COVERING.

"A. H. L." We believe that woman’s covering, in 1 Corinthians 11:1-34, is manifestly distinct from her hair. 1 Corinthians 11:5-6 place this beyond all question. As to the question when or where, we must remember that the apostle does not speak of "coming together" until the seventeenth verse. The whole passage teaches us that the covering on the woman’s head is the expression of her subjection to authority. The woman is to be subject to the man, as the Church is subject to Christ.
