We believe we have written enough to show that the Lord’s Sonship is eternally bound up with His Godhead. finally let us think briefly of the Triune Name of Matthew 28:29, "The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit". The Name of the Father proves Godhead, for it shows that He is the Source of all (Ephesians 4:6). The Name of the Son proves Godhead for it shows that He is of the same essence as the Father (John 5:18). The Name of the Holy Spirit proves Godhead, for God is spirit (John 4:24). The Spirit of God is the essence of God.

These three Names are One.
