2.039. Reception of Jesus by the Galilaeans

HIS YEAR OF POPULARITY. JESUS IN GALILEE RECEPTION OF JESUS BY THE GALILAEANS.

Now when Jesus heard that John was delivered up, he returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast. And a fame went out concerning him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel."
