CAptains] Heads of the Levites (2 Kings 11:4.) for the Levites were Gods host, Exod. 32. 26, &c.
service] Appertaining to the house of God.
prophesie] Sing sacred psalms with zeal.
harps, &c.] These were distinct kindes of musicall instruments, oft mentioned in the psalms.
work-men] Heb. men of work. That is, men skilfull, and fit for that task whereunto they were put.
