Title. Shiggaion = a loud cry in danger or joy, from sha’ag, always rendered “roar”. Occurs twenty-one times. Both meanings are seen in this Psalm, and Habakkuk 3:1 (plural “set to” = concerning), the only two occurrences. See App-65.
