Pious and Learned Annotations on the Holy Bible
Giovanni Diodati (1576–1649) was a Swiss-Italian Reformed theologian and professor of Hebrew at the Academy of Geneva. Best known for his Italian translation of the Bible, Diodati also produced scholarly annotations on the entire Bible that reflect the exegetical tradition of Reformed Geneva. His Pious and Learned Annotations provide concise theological and practical notes from a Calvinist perspective.
