Godet's Commentary on Selected New Testament Books
Frederic Louis Godet (1812–1900) was a Swiss Reformed theologian and professor of New Testament at the University of Neuchâtel. His commentaries on Luke, John, Romans, and 1 Corinthians are considered masterworks of evangelical continental scholarship, combining careful grammatical analysis of the Greek text with theological depth and devotional warmth. Godet's work remains highly valued among serious students of the New Testament.
