The Great Texts of the Bible
James Hastings (1852–1922) was a Scottish Presbyterian minister and one of the most prolific religious editors of his era. The Great Texts of the Bible is a 20-volume homiletical treasury that takes the most important verses from each book of the Bible and provides extensive sermon material, illustrations, and exposition drawn from hundreds of sources. It is a preacher's gold mine.
