Keil and Delitzsch Commentary on the Old Testament
Carl Friedrich Keil (1807–1888) and Franz Delitzsch (1813–1890) were German Lutheran Old Testament scholars whose collaborative Commentary on the Old Testament is widely regarded as the most important conservative Old Testament commentary of the nineteenth century. Spanning ten volumes and covering every book from Genesis to Malachi, the Keil-Delitzsch commentary combines exhaustive philological analysis of the Hebrew text with deep theological insight. It remains an essential reference for serious Old Testament study.
