The Bent-Knee TimeFREE SLAVES
We owe everything, humanly, to our parents. Our life comes from them. They are fellow-creators with God of human life. And the months and years of care and devotion and forethought of us make us their slaves, love’s free, volunteer slaves, forever. It is a constant parable to us of our relation to God. And the true child-heart will be utterly devoted to parents regardless of difficulties. It’s the normal, healthful thing.
