ē-v’l-doo´ẽrz מרעים, merē‛ı̄m; from רעע, rā‛a‛; κακοποιός, kakopoiós, always plural): Malefactors or offenders of God’s law. Used generally of the ungodly, as, “Fret not thyself because of evil-doers.” ([Psa 37:1]). Sometimes also of personal offenders: “He hath delivered the soul of the needy from the hand of evil-doers.” ([Jer 20:13]).
