strāks: An older form for “streaks” (so the American Standard Revised Version) in the King James Version, the English Revised Version Gen 30:37 (piclāh, “peeled spot”); Lev 14:37 (sh^eḳa‛ărūrōth, “hollow places”). For “strake,” Tobit 11:11; the King James Version Act 27:17. See STRIKE.
