Does anyone have reflections that they would like to share on how Daniel and Joseph were influential in pagan governments and yet were fearlessly faithful to God?

I wouldn't say either "volunteered" or sought for their positions ... they both sort of wound up there out of some sort of jail or similar bondage.Only God put them there for that purpose. So, it wouldn't be a good example of "seeking publice office".Now that this is bumped, I'm sure you'll get more answers.Bless you kristi. :-D

God's Plan is marvelously simple and complex at the same time. Simple because our Father is pleased to select the foolish things of the world to confound the wisdom of this world. Complex because our Redeemer is always ON TOP as pertaining to the very intricate network of evil activity rooted in the evil one. Claude
