Hello! I am new to this site and wanted to say hello to my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord.I found this site by looking up a man by the name of Reuben Archer Torrey and his writings on prayer. Also a few others. This site has so many great sermons and writings That I am sure I will be here for quite some time.At the moment I work a full time job and my spare time I work with inner city youth and inner city evangelism but am waiting to go full time into that when the time is right.Hope to get to know some of you. God bless

Re: Hello
Hello friend,
I pray that the Lord will continue to guide your steps. Working in inner-city missions is truly not for the faint at heart or for the puffed up.
"The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe"-Prv 29:25
May God continue to bless you,

Welcome to SermonIndex!

I am glad you found this resource, do take some time to listen to some of these great sermons available on the site by speakers such as: A.W. Tozer, Leonard Ravenhill and Zac Poonen, plus many others. Here are 2 messages I highly recommend you listen to first:

Ten Shekels and a Shirt by Paris Reidhead

Modern American Christianity by Paul Washer

I do also look forward to your further contributions on the discussion boards. If you have any questions at all let me know.
