WE NEED REVIVAL...

-when we do not love Him as we once did.

-when earthly interest and occupations are more important to us than eternal ones.

-when we would rather watch TV and read secular books and magazines than read the Bible and pray.

-when church dinners are better attended than prayer meetings.

-when concerts draw bigger crowds than prayer meetings.

-when we have little time or no desire for prayer.

-when we would rather make money than give money.

-when we put people into leadership positions in our churches who do not meet scriptual qualifications.

-when our Christianity is joyless and passionless.

-when we know truth in our heads that we are not practicing in our lives.

-when we make little effort to win the lost.

-when we have time for sports, recreation, and entertainment, but not for Bible study and prayer.

-when we do not tremble at the Word of God.

-when preaching lacks conviction, confrontation
and divine fire and anointing.

-when we seldom think thoughts of eternity.

-when God's people are more concerned about their jobs and their careers, than about the kingdom of Christ and the salvation of the lost.

-when God's people get together with other believers and the conversation is primarily about the news, weather, and sports, rather than the Lord.

-when church services are predictable and 'business as usual'.

-when believers can be at odds with each other and not feel complelled to pursue reconciliation.

-when husbands and wives are not praying together.

-when our marriages are co-existing rather than full of the love of Christ.

-when our children are growing up to adopt worldly values, secular philsophies, and ungodly lifestyles.

-when we are more concerned about our children's education and their athletic activities than about the condition of their souls.

-when sin in the church is pushed under the carpet.

-when known sin is not dealt with through the biblical process of discipline and restoration.

-when we tolerate 'little' sins of gossip, a critical spirit, and lack of love.

-when we will watch things on television and movies that are not holy.

-when our singing is half-hearted and our worship lifeless.

-when our prayers are empty words designed to impress others.

-when our prayers lack fervency.

-when our hearts are cold and our eyes dry.

-when we aren't seeing regular evidence of the supernatural power of God.

-when we have ceased to weep and mourn and grieve over our own sin and the sin of others.

-when we are content to live with explainable, ordinary Christianity and church services.

-we are bored with worship.

-when people have to be entertained to be drawn to church.

-when our music and dress become patterned after the world.

-when we start fitting into and adapting to the world, rather than calling the world to adpat to God's standards of holiness.

-when we don't long for the company and fellowship of God's people.

-when people have to be begged to give and to serve in the church.

-when our giving is measured and calculated, rather than extravagant and sacrificial.

-when we aren't seeing lost people drawn to Jesus on a regular basis.

-when we aren't excercising faith and believing God for the impossible.

-when we are more concerned about what others think about us rather than what God thinks about us.

-when we are unmoved by the fact that 2.5 billion people in this world have never heared the name of Jesus.

-when we are unmoved by the thought of neighbours, business associates, and acquaintances who are lost and without Christ.

-when the lost world around us doesn't know or care that we exist.

-when we are making little or no difference in the secular world around us.

-when the fire has gone out in our hearts, our marriages, and the church.

-when we are blind to the extent of our need and don't think we need a revival.

Every one of those describes an aspect of today's church, and i can see myself in some of them. We need revival.

Oh how we need revival. Really Christians, pastors, etc don't you feel the need? the burden? When will we say: God we give up playing church we want to be the Church!

I have quoted this statement before from Ravenhill that made a point what would happen if we met together for a entire month everynight to seek the Lord and didn't sit infront of our tv's and computers and sought the Lord together as a local church? what would happen?

We need to get before the Lord and say Lord we give up, we can't shake this generation with our methods and technology we need you to shake us! and use us! God please do it.

It's threads like this that really make this website community dear to me. Thank God for all the precious eyes and hearts that find their way to the list below. We are blessed to have been given a place to share the fire with each other.

Dear Lord that list is so convicting... because of your great mercy bring revival to us.

Blessings all,

As I was doing this thread, I found it heartbreaking. If only it wasn't true.

2.5 people have yet to hear the name of Jesus, how can we be so apathetic about that, so indifferent? It just makes you weep.

We are so godlessly comfortable! It's sinful!

If God spares us, it won't be because of anything we have done, it will be for His glory only.

Repentance is the only way out of this.

We need to do it now. God bless.

Why should we need revival if we are doing that which should sustain us in the last one? Perhaps we are praying for just another fuzzy sentimental experience?

James says in 4:3 (KJV)
"Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."

If God sends Himself and not revival, as Chambers points out, what have we done with Him from the first? Was it not for the manifestation of the Holy Ghost to be effective in us that Paul could say,

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." Romans 121.1,2; Romans 8:29 (KJV)

"Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it."
1 Thes. 5:16-24 (KJV)

Are not the instructions Paul gives us that which will do the sustaining?

So it is not that someone else needs revival or that we even need revival. The fact is we need to be obedient to the Holy Spirit; make ourselves sensitive to His promptings. "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ" 1 Peter 1:13 (KJV)

The above verse isn't for the hereafter --- its for the here and now! When we walk into life's situations presented us we are to bring the revelation of Jesus Christ. Can we say we do that? If not, revival won't correct that which we lack because of disobedience. Repentance is needed.

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their *worthless ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their **soul". 2 Chron. 7:14 (KJV)

Jesus placed the Love of the Father into man for the first time in John 20.22. Jesus is coming for that Love. Will He find Love when He returns?

It is in my heart to do this, and where do you find those who will do likewise? There are many excuses. Therefore if one has the burden to do this then that one person must do it. I gave up my TV over 2 years ago and have not missed it one bit, but having read this quote I now see it is up to me even if none will join me.

I know what you mean about finding those who are like minded. It's nearly impossible. But that does not stop the individual taking a step in the right direction.

God is faithful. If we are faithless He remains faithful, He cannot deny Himself. (2 Tim 2)

Thank God that we can trust Him, no matter what.

Our feelings change moment by moment, but the word of the Lord abides forever.

We will see revival. Pray, God will answer.

God bless.

Enid, I don't see where God has promised revival. I have just listened to David Wilkerson's sermon "A Call to Anguish". It is very powerful and speaks to the situation of revival and knowing God's heart. I don't know how to get the link onto this page, but it's on this site.

Quote Ormly:

James says in 4:3 (KJV)
"Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."
Orm: "So it is not that someone else needs revival or that we even need revival. The fact is we need to be obedient to the Holy Spirit; make ourselves sensitive to His promptings"

Indeed I carry the same 'sentiment' or at least understand similarly. At most, if I were to exhort brethren towards revival, I'd just use words such as repentance or obedience in accordance to Scriptures instead of ' revival '.

When the apostle Paul said
" For to me to live is Christ.." , we ought to just live as Christ lived, live out Christ, live in Christ..but to go back to the Lord and ask Him to revive those whom He had supposedly already saved alive ??

True believers live in Christ moment by moment,(24/7), so we just live our life in Him daily, we might stumble into sins sometimes, and are restored upon repentance with forgiveness and cleansing through the effacaious Blood; no less, we ARE every bit alive, why do we need to be revived? To keep praying for revival for those that are already living in Christ, does seem to be ''asking amiss'', shouldn't we pray for conviction, repentance and forgiveness instead?

As for the lost, they need to be saved by Grace through faith, to be born again in the Holy Spirit, mmm, is that revival, or simply re-birth.

However, I fully understand and appreciate those who are zealous over revival, but only for their zeal's sake.

Perplexed. No, not "I" but HIM !! Perhaps the doubt I have is over the term "revival" but not the content of revival.

YES, God is faithful, let's praise Him for the Finished work of Christ ! We NEED CHRIST and CHRIST ALONE.

1. When we acquire an appetite for God - "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God." (Psalm 42:1)

2. When we accept no alternatives - "My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; when shall I come and appear before God?" (Psalm 42:2) Greg mentioned this in his post - "methods and technology" which are alternatives to the living God not to mention all other idols we may have set up such as love of self, love of money, and love of pleasure rather than love of God.

3. When we anguish over God's absence - "My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all day long, 'Where is your God?'" (Psalm 42:3) We must recognize our pitiful, powerless condition as proof of God's absence and mourn for His presence.

4. When we ask for an encore - "These things I remembered and I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go along with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God, with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, a multitude keeping festival." (Psalm 42:4). "O God, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us, the work that Thou didst in their days, in the days of Old" (Psalm 44:1).

5. When we anticipate the answer - "Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence" (Psalm 42:5). God has His requirements for revival and when we meet them He will answer (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Concerning revival, people interpret that word in different ways.

For some it means the church needs to be revived, the world needs salvation, the unsaved masses come to Christ in droves, etc.

In Psalm 119 the psalmist asks God to revive him 7 times.

He must have recognised a lack in his walk with God that needed to be repaired. Only God could do that.

Hence, we come again to James 4 where it says you ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

How on earth can asking God to revive you, or other Christians, be wrong?

How does God get the glory when satan's influence in the world is so apparent, and effective, though it behooves me to say it, and the church, by and large, can be easily ignored by the world because it is so like the world?

Again, in Psalm 119v126 it says 'It is time for You to act, O Lord, for they have regarded Your law as void.

One looks at that scripture and think it applies to the world. It does. But it can also apply to the church.

In the same psalm in verse 136 it says 'Rivers of water run down from my eyes, because men do not keep Your laws.

If that doesn't speak of grief, I don't know what does.

Where is the glory that is due our Lord and Saviour?

It will happen. God wants it to, even if we don't. God bless.

It goes much deeper than that. We don't have revival because we're looking for someone else to bring it. Revival is not a many membered church service, it's the move of the Holy Spirit on the heart of an individual. Revival can break out in your home tomorrow morning during prayer! You can be infused with power from God, a passion to win the lost in your neighborhood and community and many will be ushered into the kingdom and no one would know ANYTHING about it, if you started praying instead of playing. Does your revival have to come with a big name evangelist? A band? A particular church or setting? Why is everyone always "looking" for revival? The Kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU! Let the Holy Spirit burn your self-sufficiency out of you and you WILL see greater revival than all the others put together.

You know, Jesus wasn't much to look at, and he was a complete UNKNOWN! but He brought the greatest revival the world had ever seen.

Let's forget about what we "expect" revival to be, and get alone with God in secret prayer and let Him do in us and through us ANYTHING He wants — even if that means spending the rest of our lives as a complete "unknown" — and win His heart and His mind.

If we get to THAT point, then you will have revivial.

The thing that made the mighty men and women of God on your website so powerful is because they spent more time in the presence of God than they did talking about it. Let's stop looking for reasons a corporate revival hasn't happened and start pressing into God's presence. Do THAT and YOU WILL see true revival!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An awakening has its roots in sacrifice; routines and complacency are constantly challenged by its existence. Revival includes change; what seems to guarantee our security and identity is often marked for destruction. This little word tells us that we, in our modern brightness and alertness, are still asleep, deprived of sensitivity concerning those things and values which nobody can properly describe, those heavenly values. Who wants to hear about such things?
Who dares to challenge an ear which is deliberately shut? Who wants to be dismissed as one who does not align, who is not approved and applauded as one supporting general tendencies and the contemporary outlook.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

God has set a limit upon the defection of His Church; when the night is at its darkest the dawn is on the way. The inner history of revivals is characterized by a profound sense of dissatisfaction awaking in many hearts. A period of gloom sets in, a weariness and exhaustion invade the heart, the pleasures of the world no longer satisfy. Sick in soul, men turn with a sigh to God; dimly they awake to the consciousness that, in trading heavenly for earthly joys, they have encountered great loss; that in the decay of spiritual vision the world has lost its soul of loveliness. Slowly this aching grows, the heart of man begins to cry out for God, for spiritual certainties, for fresh visions. From a faint desire this multiplies as it widens, until it becomes a vast human need; until in its urgency it seems to beat with violence at the very gates of Heaven.

"Sandstorms in the desert, tornadoes, earthquakes! Really Mr. Stead, your metaphors would imply that your experiences in South Wales have been pretty bad? "

"No," said Mr. Stead. "Not bad at all. Do you remember what the little Quaker child said, when the Scottish express rushed at full speed through the station on the platform on which he was standing? 'Were you not frightened, my boy?' said his father. 'Oh, no,' said the little chap, 'a feeling of sweet peace stole into my mind.' I felt like that rather. But the thing is awesome. You don't believe in ghosts? "

"Not much. I'll believe them when I see one."

"Well, you have read ghost stories, and can imagine what you would feel if you were alone at midnight in the haunted chamber of some old castle, and you heard slow and stealthy steps stealing along the corridor where the visitant from the other world was said to walk. If you go to South Wales and watch the Revival you will feel pretty much like that. There is something there from the Other World. You cannot say whence it came or whither it was going, but it moves and lives and reaches for you all the time. You see men and women go down in sobbing agony before your eyes as the invisible Hand clutches at their heart. And you shudder. It's pretty grim, I tell yon. If you are afraid of strong emotions you'd better give the Revival a wide berth."

Edwards wrote that 'a great and earnest concern about the great things of religion and the eternal world, became universal in all parts of the town, and among persons of all degrees and all ages; the noise among the dry bones waxed louder and louder; all other talk but about spiritual and eternal things, was soon thrown by.

The minds of people were wonderfully taken off from the world; it was treated among us as a thing of very little consequence. They seemed to follow their worldly business more as a part of their duty, than from any disposition they had to it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is a very precious sense in which revival is literally "GOD in the midst of His people." His manifest presence produces all that is desirable in revival. The absence of His manifest presence accounts for all that is undesirable during the seasons of moral and spiritual decline that precede revivals.
Revival Terminology in History
Over a period of some years I was a frequent visitor in the home of a leading theological bookseller in the United Kingdom whom I had taken to be a very placid man. Then one day he called me indicating he was going to visit the United States and would like to spend some time with us in our home. We were delighted to be a part of his American itinerary. Upon my next visit to his home in England, I inquired concerning his impressions of this first visit to America. I was astonished at the vehemence of his response. In no uncertain terms he declared his great disappointment in not hearing a single preacher in American, albeit he had visited numerous churches in widely scattered areas. While he acknowledged hearing many teachers, he adamantly insisted he had not heard a single preacher. When I quietly asked, "What, in your opinion, is the difference between teaching and preaching?" I was amazed at the vigor with which he insisted, "It is not a matter of my opinion! It is a well established fact! To teach is to inform! To preach is to move! I heard all kinds of teaching in America but I was never moved from where I am to where I ought to be!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

What more could a saved soul desire than to be in the Lords Presence, what more a magnificent, pure Holy being than the Lord, where else but Heaven, what more indescribable and welcoming that Gods manifest Presence, terrible and awesome, beyond beauty and unspeakable glory? All of truth, pure joy, real peace, the desire of the nations a respite of the groanings of the creature and the creation...

Life is difficult, more so for the saints, temptation is nothing until it is resisted I read the other day. Who more tempted than those who love God, who recognize that no dishonesty may be tolerated in themselves are at avarice to the world and perplexed at the madness of men taken up with the creation while denying the creator? Precious souls persecuted in foreign lands, what a relief revival would bring to the long suffering.
So many things...

Driving home from a long day at work earlier this week something very powerful came to mind. Try as I might Practicing The Presence of God, that great exhortation from Brother Lawrence, is often far more fleeting in concentration than I could wish otherwise. But the soul returns to God at the quiet moment, after the days work ends, Oh Lord the delightful sigh, sometimes weary... On this particular day, a rather 'good' day, productive, the sense of accomplishment, thanks giving to God... and suddenly;

It is the Lord!

Dropped into the thoughts. Why yes, of course! Someday, someday this will be true and real and finished, physically, bodily, spiritualy... permanently. Of all the great moments in this poor life, the few golden treasures have been those times of Gods felt manifest Presence even if but slightly, even if but on the dawning of such a revelation as this. Times of great surpassing peace, times of refreshing as mentioned. How can a saint not long for revival, for that dramatic change in the very atmosphere ... God with us. His Glory, His surpassing greatness, His drawing nearer ...

The thing that made the mighty men and women of God on your website so powerful is because they spent more time in the presence of God than they did talking about it. Let's stop looking for reasons a corporate revival hasn't happened and start pressing into God's presence. Do THAT and YOU WILL see true revival!

This is a very good point. Constant focus on revival may actually be a way of avoiding personal responsibility. Our longing for something to change outside of ourselves may have become an idol to us. We assume that we aren’t better Christians because our churches are dead, playing worldly music, not calling out the sins, or whatever. And so we focus on the troubles, and crave for change outside of ourselves rather than accept our situation and see that we can be fully satisfied in God. We fail to see that we are avoiding him and running after something else. That in itself is sin.

That reminds me of the wife who is unhappily married. She longs for a “revived” marriage so that she can be a better wife/Christian/mother or whatever. She reads volumes about the ideal marriage. She shares her troubles with other discontent wives. They discuss the sad plight of our modern-day marriages. They march in "save the marriage" campaigns.

But she fails to see that her longing is self-centered. Really she doesn’t need anything outside of herself to change in order for her to be fully satisfied. She needs to return to her true and eternal Husband – God himself.

I wonder if talk about revival exceeds the amount of revival-talk you find in the Bible. That should raise some red flags. There is the risk of swinging too far off center. That is dangerous territory to wander into. We could end up running after a lot of bunny trials. After all, it is our desires that set us up to fall into temptation. The devil knows what we want, and he is all too eager to oblige.

"Each one is tempted when by his own evil desire he is dragged away... " James 1:13

Illegitimate longings must be distinquished from legitimate longings. There is a fine line between the two - like a watershed mark. You can't see the line when it is covered with snow, but in the spring it makes a world of difference which side the snowflake fell on.

Since God knows our hearts, he knows how to change them. It is not unlike him to put the whole thing to death before birthing legitimate longings within us. He sends his own into the wilderness in order to perform many deaths. It is our challenge to learn to value the wilderness - when everything around us looks dead and chaotic. The seeds of new life always develop in the hidden places.

I wonder if the signs of spirirual death that we see and experience, while troublesome, are very much a part of God's divine work.

they spent more time in the presence of God than they did talking about it.

Maybe I'm missing something here but it seems to me that the assumption is that whoever is talking about revival today isn't spending much time in the presence of God - they are only talking about revival! Leonard Ravenhill talked about revival so much and wrote about revival so much that he said that he was tired of talking about and writing about revival, do we assume that he wasn't in God's presence because of all the "talk"?

Constant focus on revival may actually be a way of avoiding personal responsibility. Our longing for something to change outside of ourselves may have become an idol to us.

On the other hand ignoring revival may actually be a way of avoiding personal responsibility - of having to confront the religious establishment with its ungodliness and waywardness; of having to call Ephesus to repent for having left her first love, and Pergamum to repent of the teachings of Balaam, and Thyatira for tolerating the woman Jezebel, and Sardis for believing she was alive while all along she was dead and Laodicea for being luke-warm. Vance Havner said that the man who would dare do any of this had better have pledged his head to heaven - because someone would try to take it off his shoulders.
And not longing for something to change outside ourselves may become an idol to us - the idol of complacency while Christianity degenerates into a form of religion with no power; while truth stumbles in the street; and while the church sleeps on in her spiritual compromise.
And so we focus on the troubles, and crave for change outside of ourselves rather than accept our situation and see that we can be fully satisfied in God.

There is no questioning the truth that our satisfaction is found in God but we also have to remember that our deepest forms of disatisfaction will come from His Holy Spirit inside - "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied" (Matthew 5:3, 4, 6). It is God who gives the deep disatisfaction both within ourselves and without ourselves. With no dissatisfaction over the status quo there will be no compassion, no intercession, and no co-mission.
But she fails to see that her longing is self-centered

The longing for revival can be self-centered. We can want revival for our benefit which is selfish. We can want revival so that "we" get the glory and that is sin. But we can want revival so that the Lamb that was slain will receive the reward of His suffering and so that His bride will be in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she should be holy and blameless.
May we truly discern between illegitimate and legitimate longings and may God revive us according to His Word.

Find it a bit ironic that just as often this can amount to so much nay-saying,

they spent more time in the presence of God than they did talking about it.

For a site birthed and driven, characterized towards revival most of the 'talk' of it is largely ignored in favor of the controversies over the flavor of the month or redefined to mean something of a personal sort.

After all, it is our desires that set us up to fall into temptation.

Desires for God Himself? Surely that is not what is meant but this all gives off the same odor of dismissal. At the same time there also seems to be something just as slow to creep in underneath these nay-sayings, that we are now sufficient in ourselves and are in no need of revival...

Can always appreciate a balance and largely grasp the sentiments expressed and bounced off;

The thing that made the mighty men and women of God on your website so powerful is because they spent more time in the presence of God than they did talking about it. Let's stop looking for reasons a corporate revival hasn't happened and start pressing into God's presence. Do THAT and YOU WILL see true revival!

But am still reminded of the same undergirding from;

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Rom 10:14,15

Maybe a taller order and one strangely set aside in the rush to do Gods bidding without Gods bearing;

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Mat 9:38

Perhaps it's my own fault for expressing a desire to be in the Lords Manifest Presence as a entirely selfish one and it would dishonest to deny that in part, but hardly in entirety. It seems often times the definition becomes mis-characterized and why the out takes from various articles.

I also do not think this is merely a matter of romancing the past as it is learning from it. Look at our world today and look at the growth of this brand of Christianity that is producing ... what? Is it not by definition lacking? Is it not primarily something other? What is the bearing on society? In America and beyond we have grown fat and are in need of nothing, that is the prevailing and underlying attitude despite what might be said otherwise. We can get along just fine doing all things in the Name of the Lord and the results are just a replication of a product, of a 'teaching', of another construct of ideals and oughts and should's, text book style, how-to-do-it Christianity.

Where are the birth's, the new birth's, the re-arranged, self denying, cross-carrying, radically altered dispositions ... Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. There are no exceptions and yet the wisdom of this age would have it quite otherwise, compromised ... it's full of exception clauses and pronouncements and man made stamps of approval.

I wonder why it is that what often goes quite unnoticed is just how alone we might be ...
Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them...

Even our Lord sent His disciples, telling them to reproduce the same and what do we have but the opposite, an inverted form, out of place, out of order, without even the very means and anointing, the orders to go and do so.

To back up a second,

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers

What of this admonishen? To pray in this manner?
What of a soul such as this great saint A Tribute to Father Nash and the bearing his praying had. It is there I would wholeheartedly agree with the statement of pressing into God Presence but not at the expense of discouraging discussion on the matter of revival.

I believe we don't have revival because:

1) We want revival, but we don't want to work to get it.

2) We want revival, but we don't want to change our hearts.

3) We want revival, but we don't want it for God's glory.

I say it so much, but I truly believe this is what holds us back - we look for a revival of the church, but we don't ever look for a revival in our own hearts. How can we revive our country's churches when we haven't sorted ourselves out first?

R

I said:

After all, it is our desires that set us up to fall into temptation.

Mike, with his keen eyesight, most appropriately responded:
Desires for God Himself? Surely that is not what is meant but this all gives off the same odor of dismissal.

Leaving out adjectives can be fatal to a thought. I should have written: “evil desires”, because that is indeed what we read in James 1. Yet, pure hunger for revival can and does get infected with all kinds of thoughts, actions, and choices that squelch the Spirit – often out of eager desires to help God out. I’m not speaking of unconfessed sin, or the big evils, nor about those who wander into the ludicrous – like selling revival caps and t-shirts. I’m speaking about quenching caused simply because God’s people have not learned to sense God at work or be able to flow with it.

I’m not being critical per se. After all, we’re dealing with something that is outside of our experience. For the most part, we’re not accustomed to deferring our will to God in many matters of life, especially when it comes to our expectations. Like young colts each one of us needs to be harnessed in by our Master. I don’t know how God did that in past revivals, but I’m sure he did it. After all, without brokenness and humility, I doubt that there would not have been revival.

I speak merely from personal experience, rather than from the words of our learned men and women. (not to say I don’t value them immensely) I’ve been in many situations where there has indeed been fervent prayer, fasting, praising, etc. I do not criticize any of that or anyone’s motives. I believe that back then we really cared for the things of God. Yet, we all needed a lot of refining. God scattered us, and brought us though various trials. Some even endured broken marriages in subsequent years. Some just got religous and others strayed away all together. Were our prayers faulty? Not necessarily. I believe that God is using life situations to break down strongholds, illusions, faulty thinking, faulty trusts - and mainly to “harness in the frisky colts”. That is the answer to our prayers - just not the way we expected. It is part of the process.

I still recall so many times of disappointments back during those years –I’d see so many flickers of revival, and then soon came the quenching – time after time after time….all kinds of potential awakenings that didn’t get off the ground. SI is no different – the need for brokenness is ever apparent.

So now, here I am, still waiting for the answers to many, many prayers. I believe that God will bring his glory, and indeed, he is shining his glory – in one heart here, and one heart there. Maybe that wouldn’t be considered revival, and likely most Christians would not even recognize it, but I view it as a most legitimate work of God, nevertheless.

Since I came on to SI,I've been reminded so much of the revival history and all, I must say, it has helped me and frustrated me all at the same time. It helped me by admonishing me towards a more Christ-passionate and holy life. It frustrated me as it had created a new sense of discontentment.

I so can relate to what Roadsign tried to say on her posts. Which of us does not want to see our neighbors and our assemblies revived to God'sutmost standards of holiness and love. Which of us is not conscious of the due diligence required us of walking faithfully by Christ each day. The Lord even used some of you here to bring me to a little of that 'revival' you are so zealous of here on SI.

Some day, I might walk away from SI, I could be sent to some very lonesome corner of the world, with no SI, no church building, no brethren..no nothing..But, I know I will still be alright, or even fantastic, in spirit and in faith, because I am and forever will be in Christ. GOD will meet HIS people wherever they are at, in the good and the bad, with or without corporate revivals.

All the labor and prayers and yearnings for revival will only be as honoring and glorifying to the LORD if this is truly what HE wished for at the present time:

Proverbs 1:26
I also will laugh at your calamity; ( God does that too !! )

Besides, we do have lots of revivals (of the different kind) all over the world,in the name of the another jesus. Does the LORD intervene? No, not right now anyways.

Yes, we lack holiness, we lack repentance, we lack genuine love, but to keep focusing on lack, I will soon offend CHRIST, because HE lacks nothing, when we are in CHIRST we lack nothing. NOTHING at all.

For Christians to make statements of " We need xyz" aside from Christ and His Word, may not be the most appropriate thing to say in light of God's glory. However, praying " I need revival" is an entirely different matter. Methinks..

Should the whole world fall away from under our feet, will we lack anything, in Christ?

Praise GOD for him sending revivals in the past, praise GOD for him not sending revivals now, or not ever sending another revival. Praise God for sending revival here on SI, if I were to call it that. :)

The Lord wants us to make sacrifice of praises to Him, and for us to make our own lives a holy sacrifice to Him, and for the rest...?? And sometimes, the sacrifice is to praise HIM when things are falling apart, or when there's no or not yet revival. Praise Him, just praise Him !

Do we need revival? Yes, only if God sovereignly determines so, No, if God wish otherwise. His Sovereignty rules. FATHER knows best !

Praise GOD for the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Praise GOD for SI, Enid,Mike B., Mike C., Diane, Scroggins,Ferrai,PaulWest, Orm, Phillip,Linn,Melissa,Christian, Steve, Niel,Ron.B,Kristina.....
Let's just praise HIM, praise and praise and praise HIM !

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

Thankyou, my revived brethren.

What is the test for us if it is not about allegiance to the Father. Why should revival be needed at all?

All well and good, but to belabor the point, what were the Modus Operandi of the awakenings, the revivals behind us? Seems we are lacking a definition.

What is the test for us if it is not about allegiance to the Father. Why should revival be needed at all?

It shouldn't in one respect, but that is neither the reality nor the matter, seems a contadiction to put it that way, why did revivals come in the past?

C

Perhaps the healthy tension between spiritual contentment and spiritual hunger can be explained in the difference between the personal and corporate life in Christ.

For the individual Christian, there is admittedly something pathetic about constantly pining for personal revival. Afterall Jesus has said to the church, "Behold I stand at the door and knock..." So why the rebellion? If we believe him, and open the door then surely we can have fellowship with him!

Yet the yearning for revival applied to the whole church, through preaching and intercessory prayer is quite another matter.

I believe this 'double standard" of bringing reponsiblity to bear on one self, while bringing grace to others is scriptural. We are told to carry our own burdens, yet to also carry the burdens' of others.

"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden."

We call them revivals -- but were they? Think about the Welch "revival" or Azuzu street. Were they really revivals or the major beginnings of the great outpouring of the Holy Ghost for the end times; a restoration to the Church the mighty baptism of the Holy Ghost?

To say revival is to say revive from death, slothfulness is an another issue. Yet, there is another condition that needs be mentioned, i.e., error accepted as truth that leaves one with not just perhaps a false sense of security but them completely, because of pride and willing compromise, missing out on the main reason for the born again experience.

I wrote this awhile back. Perhaps it will shed some light on what I'm trying to get across:

John 17:1-11 (NASB-U)

Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. "I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. "Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
"I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. "Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. "I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours; and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. "I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.

The vocation of the natural life

But when it pleased God . . . to reveal His son in me . . . Gal. 1:15-16 .

The call of God is not a call to any particular service; my interpretation of it may be, because contact with the nature of God; by the revelation of Jesus Christ, has made me realize what I would like to do for Him.

The call of God is essentially expressive of His nature; service is the outcome of what is fitted to my unsullied nature, by Him. The vocation of the natural life is stated by the apostle Paul—“When it pleased God to reveal His Son in me that I might preach Him” (i.e., *sacramentally express Him) “among the Gentiles.”"

* To sacramentally express God is by design, the normal Christian life; anything less is not by His design ergo, it is sub-normal. Anything less implies we are not in union with Him. Paul uses the word “might” to imply we have a part, a responsibility, in expressing the Father. His Nature is to be our nature through which the expression of the Father comes. It is to be from His Nature; we act and have our being.

* Therefore, Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. [John 5:19 NAS]

* Aside from sacramentally expressing the Character of the Father, the son desires to do nothing, except it is of the Father. Because:
……..without faith, His very Life within us, it is impossible to please the Father, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek to be in union with Him. [cf Hebrews 11:6

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me". Galatians 2:20 (KJV)

"Service is the overflow of super abounding devotion; but, profoundly speaking, there is no call to that, it is my own little actual bit, and is the echo of my identification, union, with the Nature of God. Service is of His Nature [al] part of my normal Christian life."
God gets me into a relationship with Himself whereby I understand His call; that which He desires me to know of Himself;" that I understand He wants intimacy with me.

“For I am jealous over you with Godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ”. 2 Cor. 11:2 (KJV) ]

*……"..for then I will do things out of sheer love for Him on my own account", because I will know I am His son and the son loves the Father.. "To serve God is the deliberate love-gift of a nature that has heard the call of God" and can only respond from a heart that is “holy” His.

[Again], "service is expressive of that which is fitted to my nature", progressing in its journey to be in union with Christ Jesus, in the Father. The service is to be of God’s choosing. Therefore:

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord”. Psalm 27:14 (KJV) and “In your patience possess ye your souls”. Luke 21:19 (KJV)

"God’s call is expressive of His nature; consequently, when I receive His nature and hear His call, the voice of the Divine nature sounds in both and the two work together. The Son of God reveals Himself in me, and I serve Him in the ordinary ways of life out of LOVE devotion to Him."

God calls to the new nature of Christ Jesus within us. Is the new nature of Him, our ruling disposition that we hear His call? In this, there can be no compromise. If my old nature, to whatever degree, remains alive in me, there will be warfare and His voice will be difficult to discern. Therefore: “Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit [possess] the land [your soul]……….Psalm 37:34 (KJV)

What is a revival? Strictly speaking, it is the restoration of life that has been lost, and in this sense it applies only to the Church of God. But used in the more common acceptation, it is the turning of multitudes to God. As conversion is the turning of a soul to God, so a revival is a repetition of this same spiritual process in the case of thousands. It is conversion upon a large scale. It is what occurred under the apostles at Pentecost, when three thousand were converted under one sermon. Modern Hostility to Revivals ~ Bonar

I wrote this awhile back. Perhaps it will shed some light on what I'm trying to get across:

Not really Orm, it is all wonderful truth but seems to be tangent off the matter at hand. Still puzzled over some of the flavor left here towards revival, if it is thought to be a necessity or not, desired or no, haven't really heard anything that speaks to something other... Let me try again. What I perceive coming from some of this is the sense that we have outgrown a need for 'revival's', that we are sufficient in ourselves to do Gods work without Gods power. Now, that may be overstating it a bit as to some who have written here, but speaking in generalities is this not more often than not the present case? A blessing on 'our' program, a sense of a driven purposed life that we have designed, that just needs a little helping hand. Not setting out to be derogatory, just wonder at all that is spoken of here on many pages about revival, for instance the most recent one on the effects upon missions, or the revival amongst the Inuit ... It is a vast and multifaceted matter. Perhaps my chagrin is to see it applied somewhat more towards something abstract or 'personal', namely 'us', would like to believe that most that tarry long here are already revived enough to continually press into the deeper things of the Lord. To put it quite bluntly and use Mr. Warrens own words in another, similar way, "who cares about 'us'"? What about those who do need reviving, the vast spurious, superficial things in our midst under a banner of Christianity? The bleating sheep caught unaware, and the fleecing of the same, the false constructs and heartbreaking things... What more importantly that the Name of Lord is suffering such reproach and that brought on by those of His own church? What of the lands of persecution, what of our own kind, our brothers and sisters, who more in need of encouragement and times of refreshing, that wonderful part of revivals and the change of atmosphere brought on by conviction of the guilty, that they might turn?

There is a an element of the selfish that eeks through at times, almost to the point where I could have wished to never have mentioned a personal longing ... My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? But that would only make me a liar, the homesick for Heaven mentioned elsewhere. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. The same that Paul desired, For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better. All these things, and yet as strange as it might sound a contradiction, to hear of revival anywhere, to hear; For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Even in if in part as revival is, that the Lord would receive the reknown due His Holy Name and never come anywhere near it, have no small part in it would more than be welcomed, would be a glad, long petitioning of intercession that the Lord might send it, to even hear of it, to know that it is the Lords own doing as all true revivals always are...

Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people. Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste. Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore? Isa 64:1-12

P.S. Whatever the case am rejoicing to see more discussion on this tremendous matter, surely it must bring a sigh of relief to Greg's heart.

Mike, it seems that you are referring to ungodly contentment as opposed to godly contentment (“Godliness with contentment is great gain.). Of course there are countless whose hearts are still in “Egypt”, and they have no desire to enter the Promised Land. For a moment I thought you were deducing that spiritual condition from some of our responses, so I appreciate the clarification. Of course any of us might stop by the way and get too settled; but God has plenty ways of “drying up the streams” there, and prodding us on.

I don’t know what it is about we westerners, but we seem to have trouble accepting two opposite truths at the same time. ‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for they shall be filled.” Can you be both hungry and filled at once? Of course you can. Also, you can be content and discontent at the same time. You can be filled with joy and grief at the same time. You can be angry and at peace at the same time. Christ was. So why not us?

I firmly believe that accepting things the way they are is a prerequisite for holy discontentment. You’re not convinced? Just listen a while to someone who complains a lot. They don’t make good intercessors, do they?

We do need to be very careful that we don’t attribute ungodly contentment where it doesn’t belong.

I was once the worship coordinator at a weeklong conference with one of the preachers of the Canadian Revival Fellowship. Being an opportunist, I made sure to chat with him about revival praying. He surprised me. He said, ‘God did not call me to pray for revival for this conference, because it is not his timing. Instead I must focus on my job of preaching. God always draws me into intercession when he is going to do something.” I might add that we had daily prayer meetings together – but still….. there's a lot to pray for besides overall revival.

When Christ called us to take his yoke, he included the burden of intercession. He is the intercessor, and we unite in him in the burden. But we don’t carry it in our own strength. The burden of sin and waywardness is just too heavy. It could consume us altogether.

During our journey through the wilderness of this fallen world, we can accumulate a lot of loads, and even get quite discouraged. We do get dried out. We need the oasis. Mamaluk’s million-dollar post is like drink of refreshing water. She points us back to the Lord – and that’s what we need over and over again. We also need to praise God for the fellowship of others on the journey. And, being refreshed, we can go a few more miles.

Surely posts like Mamaluks, Ormly’s, Olans, Comptons, and the rest are all needed in any discussion about revival, or rather - the advancement of God's kingdom.

Can't get by your beginning quote, CC. I find it convoluted in its reasoning; based on [what I believe to be] a wrong explanation of Acts 2.

Because of my own take on revival, the overall inability of it to accomplish lasting change, something I might say is the reason why revivals have lost their appeal to the Christian, I find myself agreeing with Chambers who said, why revive what didn't work the first time?

Revival isn't needed, desperation is; man brought to his wits end. In this struggle, the sincere for someone larger than man in one's life; Christ Jesus, will enter in. For the rest, no amount of "revival" will help. They will continue in their "worthless" [evil] ways.

Man's way of evangelism doesn't press for contract that carries conviction. In other words, If we are taught God's does it all, as some say on this forum, and for intitial salvation this is true, --- but for the re-born, "newness of life" doesn't happen, what are we to conclude, we didn't pray hard enough, sing loud enough or give enough? No, initially there must be a revelation of Jesus Christ made quick to our soul that we will declare to have no other love but Him and His union with the Father. If that doesn't happen we will have warfare --- and "...the violent will take it by force"..

Can we see that this must be on the individual level that will enlarge [Him]self and become the corporate disposition. We have it backward by hoping for the corporate [revival] to effect the individual [revival].

Will programs and revivals sustain or is it to be our love for Christ Jesus? If we falter will it be because we need revived or because our we have “left our first love”?

Paul and Peter said this:

1 Cor. 3:2 (KJV)
I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Hebrews 5:12-13 (KJV)
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. [13] For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

1 Peter 2:2 (KJV)
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby:……………..

This is an indictment for those Chriatians desiring to be spoon fed and burped, believing heaven is still the goal and not son-ship.

This is an indictment for those Chriatians desiring to be spoon fed and burped, believing heaven is still the goal and not son-ship.

Ormly, it looks like you are speaking of those professing believers who pray for revival but can’t see that they themselves have stony hearts. They resist personal “revival” ie God’s inner work, yet desire it in the bigger picture.

I suppose there is a tendency to assume that anyone who is burdened for revival is himself revived (ie Christ-centered). It’s like one who is intensely disturbed about his weedy and stony backyard. He prays every day for a beautiful garden. However, he have makes no effort to learn about gardening, about plants, about soils, watering, etc. He fails to see good plants sprouting here and there, and so he makes no effort to feed and water them and protect them from the weeds. Surely those are indications that he is out of touch with “Mother Nature” – like a pray-er who is not connected with the Source of Life.

I find the prayers in the New Testament fascinating. These prayers pour from those who are united with Christ. There is something to be said in what is prayed for, and who is prayed for. Couldn’t you say that these are revival prayers? They are prayers for the growth and strengthening of God’s kingdom. Surely it’s not right to neglect the ministry to the saints, while focusing on the masses of the unsaved “out there”, and all the aberrations of Christianity:

“ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus, and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you,… (THE BELIEVERS) I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened…” Eph 1:15

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you (THE BELIEVERS) with power through his Spirit in his inner being….” Eph. 1:16

“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, (THE BELIEVERS) we have not stopped praying for you, asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will.. Co.1:9

“Eppaphras… is always wrestling in prayer for you… (THE BELIEVERS) that you may stand firm in the will of God, mature and fully assured. Col. 4:12

“Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you ( the BELIEVERS) and supply what is lacking in your faith. 1 Thes. 3:10

“And this is my prayer: that your (the BELIEVERS) love may abound more and more.. “Phil 1:9

I sure would value petitions such as these prayed on my behalf. Surely my own spiritual growth would be a benefit to the kingdom.

John 17: 9 - The Lord's prayer for us:

9I pray for them : I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

10And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

11And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

12While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfectin one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Solid! I read this over and over, solid ! This is what the Apostle Paul wanted us to know, and to live after. He wanted us to know who we really are, and what inheritance of all spiritual blessings we own, all in our Lord Jesus Christ. It's now, it's not future. It's now!!

Ephesians 1:17-23 - Paul's prayer for us :

17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him:

18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

With all this always in mind, I can live, I can live, I can truly live an abundant life. Praise God so so much !

Thanks saints!!
