The Mac has some expensive and sophisticated bible software and some that isn't either. Or at least it did. The upgrade of the free MacSword provides parallel bibles and personal commentary functions and lots of free modules of Bible texts and commentary modules. If you are using a Mac it is well worth taking a look at [url=http://www.macsword.com/]macsword[url=http://www.macministry.org/articles/MacSword1-2.html]mini-tutorial[url=http://www.macsword.com/]macsword.
MacSword 1.2.1b now available for the Mac
I've been using it for quite a while and I really like it! My only qualm is that the pictures on the website clearly show that they have a NASB bible loaded... but one isn't offered -_- I wish i could have that one, but you can't have everything. Guess I'll still have to lug around an NIV and an NASB to bible studies.
I understand why they can't offer it because of licensing fees and such... but still, I own at least 4 different NIV bibles (some were gifts) and an NASB... its not like I haven't paid my dues.
I'd also like to see some more of the books available on CCEL available for macsword, and maybe Oswald Chamber's Utmost, so that I don't have to carry that one around either.
I sound like such a complainer! But this is really great software, check it out if you have a mac.
