Bees are dying off. 60-70% missing on the East&West Coast. Spreading in Europe.

It seems that many of the missing bees are simply hiding out in my shed, taunting me to come in for a gardening tool...

Most, if not all, man-made modern technology, no matter what its intentions, sure affect our spiritual fruits. I'm sure the internet started out to try and help people get information quicker, but look at the stuff that's on it now.

Anyone else getting to the stage where anything you are doing that doesn't involve God feels empty and pointless? Homework, music, internet, friends, money. None of it satisfies.

May God give me the strength to stick by his side and not get distracted, for His glory.

TAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan's bee farmers are feeling the sting of lost business and possible crop danger after millions of the honey-making, plant-pollinating insects vanished during volatile weather, media and experts said on Thursday.

Over the past two months, farmers in three parts of Taiwan have reported most of their bees gone, the Chinese-language United Daily News reported. Taiwan's TVBS television station said about 10 million bees had vanished in Taiwan.

A beekeeper on Taiwan's northeastern coast reported 6 million insects missing "for no reason", and one in the south said 80 of his 200 bee boxes had been emptied, the paper said.

Beekeepers usually let their bees out of boxes to pollinate plants and the insects normally make their way back to their owners. However, many of the bees have not returned over the past couple of months.

Possible reasons include disease, pesticide poisoning and unusual weather, varying from less than 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) to more than 30 degrees Celsius over a few days, experts say.

"You can see climate change really clearly these days in Taiwan," said Yang Ping-shih, entomology professor at the National Taiwan University. He added that two kinds of pesticide can make bees turn "stupid" and lose their sense of direction.

As affected beekeepers lose business, fruit growers may lack a key pollination source and neighbors might get stung, he said.

Billions of bees have fled hives in the United States since late 2006, instead of helping pollinate $15 billion worth of fruits, nuts and other crops annually. Disappearing bees also have been reported in Europe and Brazil.

The mass buzz-offs are isolated cases so far, a Taiwan government Council of Agriculture official said.

But the council may collect data to study the causes of the vanishing bees and gauge possible impacts, said Kao Ching-wen, a pesticides section chief at the council.

"We want to see what the reason is, and we definitely need some evidence," Kao said. "It's hard to say whether there will be an impact."

I know this is extreme, but I read of a woman who would stay on her cell phone for several hours a day. She then found out she had a brain tumor, with some thinking they realized that the tumor was right were her phone antenna was when she talked on her phone. These things aren't that healthy for us.

Between 2000 & 2004 we planted all sorts of perenials that would attract butterflies and hummingbirds and as a result, had 100's of butterflies of all types and with them, 100's of bees at each large bush, like the Sedum and Budleia, etc.
We had to be careful walking by those certain flowers and bushes because of the mass quantity of bees. Mostly honeybees, but other types too.

For the last two years the bees and the butterflies are all but gone. Unbelievable.
It's been sad & scarey at the same time.
We have videos of the mass population that these plants attracted just 2 and 3 years ago, now there is none.

I found this one article off of your search as very interesting too. The cell phone connection is only theory I see and it seems that it may very well be an infection.

The main thing, that makes this not a joking matter, is that it is affecting pollination, so that our food crops and trees and so forth will suffer and are.

Before you posted this, I thought it was just a local phenomena here. But to look out the window, at what was once a garden literally loaded with butterflies and bees and now see none and looking at your Search links, really brings this reality home.

One of those "fellows" said, "if you control the food, you control the world."

Genetically modified food seed is a very sad fact of life. It is getting harder for farmers to buy non-hybrid seed, the purpose of that is so they cannot take the seed from the harvest next year to re-plant and Must buy from these places like Monsanto, who produces a lot of these GM seeds.

Same for us. So if you can find good non-hybrid seed, get what you can now.

The next move will be to "re-locate" folks, so enjoy yer fresh "maters & taters" while ya can.

ginnyrose, you've picked out the two best authors to recommend. They're my inspiration for all these years, knowing this was coming from '94.
They were asking the military guys back then if they'd be willing to fire on their own fellow citizens. It was only 25% back then, who said they would.
Now, since MTV, violent video games, and these recent wars that have desensitized so many young men, the numbers have doubled.
Many who are going into the military now, are even illegal immigrants and they've lowered the entrance exams/standards and backgrounds since I was in.
Those who are getting out, half war crazed are being enlisted to civilian police jobs, plus other type positions of that nature.
There was a time that this country would never endorse 'torture' and we condemned it in other countries and even hung some leaders practicing that.
I heard a high ranking officer on the radio saying, torture just gets out false confessions and that there are much better ways to get people to talk. Much better ways.
It's not the same world as you and I grew up in and not the same military caliber of people of when I was in.
There are thankfully some good men, but I've heard that they are being shipped over there and the muck is staying here for what you've read above.
I forget off hand just how many civilian mercenaries we've hired for this war, but it outnumbered our troops over there.

The bottom line is, the National Guard, which I was in, was never meant to be shipped out, but to protect our own borders.
Our borders are wide open and foreign troops have been in our country for well over 10 years now.
It was supposed that foreign troops would more easily escort us citizens from point A to B.

Corey, I'm trying to think of the name of that Officer who was with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who blew the cover off of "the trains" ... I'll keep racking my head on that one.

But in the meantime, about the trains that your referring to. This Officer exposed the train cars that have been fitted with hand-cuffs over in Germany. They started to hire welders here to do it but then for some reason shipped the business over to Germany.

He actually saw the "gararge" where these trains will pull in and one car at a time is enclosed by large doors at either end and the garage is fitted with lethal gas.
Then the next car goes in and the train then goes to large crematoriums.

FEMA was created in a series of Executive Orders. A Presidential Executive Order, whether Constitutional or not, becomes law simply by its publication in the Federal Registry. Congress is by-passed.

Executive Order Number 12148 created the Federal Emergency Management Agency that is to interface with the Department of Defense for civil defense planning and funding. An "emergency czar" was appointed. FEMA has only spent about 6 percent of its budget on national emergencies. The bulk of their funding has been used for the construction of secret underground facilities to assure continuity of government in case of a major emergency, foreign or domestic.

Executive Order Number 12656 appointed the National Security Council as the principal body that should consider emergency powers. This allows the government to increase domestic intelligence and surveillance of U.S. citizens and would restrict the freedom of movement within the United States and grant the government the right to isolate large groups of civilians. The National Guard could be federalized to seal all borders and take control of U.S. air space and all ports of entry. Here are just a few Executive Orders associated with FEMA that would suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001 allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002 designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004 allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds, designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049 assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has broad powers in every aspect of the nation.

FEMA 'is' Homeland Security.
