Please pray for Pastorfrin.

S
sermonindex

Dear Saints - Pastorfrin has had some ultra sound tests run and they are finding lesions on his pancreas and liver and a mass at the lower left lung and right side.

This Friday, he will be going through an upper and lower CT scan with contrast.

He's been having pain and tiredness for a while now - but of course he's a trooper and is still working his brick masonry job.

Please lift him up in prayer. His wife and 7 children and 14 grandchildren and his church and us want him to stick around and not beat any of us to Heaven.

Just being honest here and know you folks feel the same.

We're asking for Your Mercy Lord God of Hosts - in Jesus' Name. Amen.

moe-mac is Praying for Pastorfrin,
Eph 3:20 God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we can ask or think according the faith that works in us. God is able to give us what we need and exactly when we need it. We all know by Pastorfrin's post he is well aware of that God is in control. It is easy to read his post and see he loves the Lord and and HIS WORD and has the want-to to be pleasing to the Lord in every area of his life. My the Lord bless him, heal him and give him peace in the midst of his storm.

Thank you Annie for this act of love.

Brothers and Sisters,

Thank You All for the prayers you are offering to the Lord, in behalf of me and my family. You cannot know how much they are appreciated.
The Lord has given me complete peace in this trial and as I know there is a journey yet before me, He is leading the way.
He loves us so much, enough to give His Son to bring us unto Him; thus we can pray and believe Him that His will is best for us in every area of our lives.
As I was reading this morning His word spoke and I would like to share with you.

Psalm 131:1–3
1 LORD, my heart is not haughty,
Nor my eyes lofty.
Neither do I concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too profound for me.
2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 O Israel, (O Church) hope in the LORD
From this time forth and forever.
NKJ

Our hope must be in Him and nothing else; no other issue can or ever should diminish our hope in Him, for our hope must be forever, no matter the circumstances in our lives.

The apostle Paul shares with us a wonderful truth in:

Philip. 4:4-8
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. [5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Notice after we have received the Peace of God, we are instructed to think on these things. Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report, “and if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

In this way we can:

1 Thes. 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

So let us all give thanks unto the Lord for His mercy endureth forever.

Psalm 136:1-3
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. [2] O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. [3] O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:26
O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 140:13
Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

Thank all of you and may all have a Happy Thanksgiving as we all remember, HE IS FAITHFUL WHO PROMISED.

In His Love

Hi BrokenOne,

Thank you for your prayers and no I have not received any results from the CT yet. They tell me today, I will wait and see and let everyone know as soon as I do.

ginnyrose, that is a good idea, I started a journal of this journey quite some time ago and it seems it is growing, guess that is a good thing.
Thank you all for your prayers,

my friend's son (in his 30's) was miraculously healed of testicular cancer. He has fragile x syndrome, and (maybe connected?) an extremely high pain threshold, so his parents didn't realise until it was too big to hide any longer, and far advanced, with metasases in bone and lungs.

The Lord gave us a word of promise of healing, and he is healed, though of course still has to go for checkups. There's no sign of any recurrance - I think its about 2 years now.

I hope this further evidence that the Lord does still heal in these days will encourage, even though there are no guarantees unless He speaks specifically as He did for this young man.

We will continue to seek Him on your behalf.

One thing that comes to mind as I type is Daniel's friends in the furnace (Dan 3). They said that God is able to deliver, but (even) if not...

There's another word, but I need to wait for confirmation and maybe share another time...

Love

Jeannette

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I have news, I have wonderful news, I have wonderful, glorious, miraculous news.
Jesus is still in the miracle working business, are you ready for this?
The tumors that were in my pancreas and liver for the two previous CT scans are
absent from this last one, they are gone, gone, gone.
The mass growing from my partial right kidney, are adhesions from the Partial Nephrectomy that are putting pressure on my ribs and surrounding organs, which is causing all the pain.
My lungs have areas of calcified and non-calcified flax possibly caused by pneumonia and or
material breathed into lungs from years of exposure to construction materials.
In simple terms, no tumors and no cancer. Praise the Name of Jesus, Thank You Lord, Oh Thank You Jesus.
Thank You All for your faithfulness in prayer, please rejoice with my family and me as we offer praise and thanksgiving unto Him Who is FAITHFUL who Promised. He is still Today, 'The Lord That Healeth Thee'

ginnyrose,

I will if the Lord gives me the words to write, that will glorify Him.
We have learned to trust in His will to be done, in whatsoever situation we find ourselves.
He is Faithful who Promised, thus we should be able to rest in His Will.

Pastorfrin, Robert and Anna, these verse came to me when I read this,

Lam 3:25 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

Psa 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Nah 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Pastor, sometimes when we have a trial, we experience emotions that really expose our humanity, our fraility. I am not suggesting you share this in detail but how or what did God show you through this ordeal: that is what I would love to hear. Too many times Christians psyche themselves up to where they are not in touch with reality concerning pain, affliction. In watching our daughter endure terminal illness taught me a lot which has impacted me to this day. I am so glad for the lessons I learned, but sure would not ask to go through a trial like this...so it is a good thing God does not ask our permission before he puts us through it.

The most blessed point I learned is the sufficiency of the grace of God: it will be there right when we need it, not too early and not too late. And this lesson has grown and gotten babies!

Now I will shut up because I do not want to steal your thunder!
