Does anyone know anything about Tommy Newberry and his book "The 4:8 Principle: The Secret To A Joy Filled Life"??
I've noticed this is becoming a very popular book among church men's groups. Just wondering if anyone here knows about it, and can offer some insight into it. Someone in our fellowship mentioned it to me this weekend, and tho I've seen the book around, I dont know anything about it or the author.

The only Newberry I know is Thomas Newberry. He did the Newberry Reference Bible (KJV).
Nope... wrong guy.
Scouring the internet I really cant find any critiques of his book, or his ministry, except the he is a "life coach" and "motivational speaker".
He seems to be all about self esteem and personal success, and all that stuff. I dont want to just discard him as just another "christian" psycho-babbler if he truly isnt.
Oh well... interesting that this book is apparently becoming extremely popular... and none of us have heard of it! LOL... bravo for us!
