I watched the interview and prayed for you Greg. God was faithful and reminded you of the very scriptures He wanted you to quote.

I believe you didn't give the enemy any place to accuse you, and you also didn't compromise truth.

And, I also had a brief response to add:

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

This verse is continually coming to my heart in prayer, for this reason:

This isn't focusing on scholarly knowledge either, but, much more:

This is interesting how our Lord explains this way that the world may believe that the Father has sent His Son, Jesus Christ.

It seems like what was discerned on Greg's TV interview by everybody (but went unsaid) that the Lakeland "Revival" really seems like nothing more than a mere show. That is why there is no impact on the local community and no trickle effect.

Indeed, watching a clip from the revival made me feel like I was watching a car dealer on TV trying to sell me something. Indeed, it seemed no different than a Benny Hinn crusade that you see on TV. Having an ongoing Benny Hinn style crusade is a far cry from having revival. What grieves me most is that very popular "prophetic voices" are promoting this revival as the "third wave" (in succession to Brownsville and Toronto). Indeed, the Lakeland Revival web site is full of pomp and arrogance, that has a great overestimation of itself.

At least with all the problems you had at Brownsville, there was an emphasis on preaching the word of God, and there were many wonderful salvation stories. Yeah, there was a lot of barn yard nonsense, but, there were scores of people being broken over their sin.

Good job Greg. You really had some good answers. The guy you interviewed with made me a little squimish with his overly sympathetic stance on Lakeland, and sometimes, he was a little flippant and too casual with most anything he said. But you did good. I pray people were blessed.

I just finished watching it as well. The sound of the video was a really low for me. Had to turn my volume to max just to listen.

I agree with KingJimmy, I wasn't fond of the host either :P

Greg your comments were great and the callers were great as well. I pray the concerns raised by the dialogue wakes people up to the true heart of Revival.

This particular response (though in extent being brief) really hit hard on the core issues of this ministry down in Lakeland. I was actually rather shocked by this rebuke, especially in consideration of the comment about the popular "prophetic voices" who are promoting this revival as the "third wave"; and, also, the "healing angels" that are so fondly promoted in the Lakeland services.
