The Harvest and the great falling away. A warning.

"The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels."

These times are somewhat surreal to me, as the days pass. I have seen men, ministers of the gospel, that I respected, prove to be of the devil; false and lying apostles. Why didn't I see this before, when I could have warned others?, and why did not others see this coming in their lives? I have been astonished, and cried out, "This cannot be!"; "Not Him!"..but it was true. They were apostate.

The thing that I am beginning to grasp now, after some time at this business of discerning Truth and Deception, is that these men, these great leaders of American Christianity who have turned aside, have always been crooked. Many or most of them never did belong to Jesus. They have always been tares...and they must be exposed by the Lord alone, and this was only possible at a

[b]TIME[/b]...the end of the age.

I believe with all of my heart that we as a church, have entered into this era now. We have entered into the End of the Age. I do not know the length of this time, or it's relation to the Return of Jesus, and the preceding great tribulation; but brothers and sisters; we are in it.

One of the major signs is that we recognize the tares; the counterfeit WHEAT. They must grow up among us, and in a way, be hidden among the good fruit of the field. This is something that God has done, something that He has engineered, for the sake of purity. Yes, the devil has sowed the tares, but God allowed it as the test that All of the Harvest is about. [b]Worship[/b]

Who do you love, and what are you devoted to? As I ponder the attributes of these men, I see a pattern about them, in their preaching, teaching and deeds. The lack of;

1.] The preaching and teaching of the Cross of Jesus, and His blood alone, as the only and sole way to the Father.

2.] The truth that; "[b]You must be born again!"[/b]..regenerated by the Holy Spirit Himself within your self, creating a new man; a child of God Himself.

3.] The teaching and preaching of the Cross that the Christian must bear, to gain Christ. The submission inwardly to that Holy Spirit that will put us to death. This is the only thing that will transform us to the end that we will be as Jesus, and learn how to Love.

4.] The drawing away from the Word alone, as literally written in the Bible, to an EXPERIENCE or humanistic feeling, as a fruit of God's will or presence. This is compromise, full and complete, and the odd thing about it, is that it grows, it spreads, and the trickle of heresy becomes a flood...every time, if you wait.

5.] The "ministry" mentality, versus the "Brother" mentality. Clergy / Laity thinking, and the adherence to the "Priest Class" type of living. Separate...and this is the prominent thing that has destroyed the body life of the church, and there-by the Body. We are one body, and the Apostles all called themselves brethren FIRST, and esteemed the least of the Brethren as much as any of the prominent ones.

6.] They see the church as an event, that they mostly lead, rather than an organism. The meeting is the Church to them, and the reality is that it is NOT! The meeting should never precede the community, the love of one another in practical ways in daily life. To admit this, however, would place these nicolaitan types right out of power, and they will not descend to the common, which brings ...

7.] They are all professional preachers, paid itinerants often. Jesus had a word for them.[b]Hirelings.[/b] After a while, you perform, you ACT. You play the role, and the entertainment and oratorical value of the impression you make, becomes ascendant over the Word of God. That is how they stay popular, after all. "and my people love it so."

We must learn to walk with God alone, for this is the very heart of what Faith is. The secret place, where we Know Him, and strive to please Him, to die to us, to live to Him...and THEN as a member of the Body, and then the Church is real; Love is real. This is where we are heading, and soon Jesus will take His rightful place as Head of the body...as Lord, all over the Earth.

The Elders of this Church will do three things.

1.] They will feed the Church.

2.] They will protect the Church.

3.] They will manifest the Lordship of Jesus alone wherever they go and in whatever they do to All.

Hey ginnyrose: It's like "Oprah" Christianity out there! Everyone is saved, Hindu or Muslim, god is good to all, and mercy for everyone. All you need is love...

That feels good to the soul, but the fire afterward will not, for the Father is jealous over the sacrifice of His Son, and must punish all who reject Him, for they are unclean.

Very clear discernment, Wayneman. I think of the Pharisee's final and logical justification to assassinate Jesus of Nazareth, [ and poor resurrected Lazarus too...]. "If we allow Him to continue, the Romans will come, and remove our Nation, and our place!" "..and from that moment on, they counseled on how they might kill Him." This is what I was referring to when I said that it seemed surreal. Who could imagine that a real move of God would be quenched, willingly, by professing Christian leaders?

The sad truth, is that it happens, and it happens quite frequently, for when the Lord the Spirit declares His dominion over HIS body, Man must be dethroned. They are out of power and a job, and they will fight to the death to retain it. It is a small thing to them to sacrifice the church to do it. To them, it seems perfectly natural, and they deem themselves even responsible to do it. They will attack anything and anybody that may even hint that the church does not belong to them, and they are not needed. This is at the heart and soul of the Pharisee spirit, the professional ministry, and it alive and well in most of Churchianity in America today...but Hallelujah! ...not for long.

We will be one body with one Spirit and one Lord over all, before it is all over, and the Harvest has begun!

What is this added word "Great" when it is said of the falling away? It doesn't say it's great, why put emphasis on something that has not emphasis? Great Tribulation yes, but not Great Falling Away. Where words are set are very important.

Some could say that I was being nit picky, but when you have thousands of English translations of the Bible and the wording becomes weaker and weaker, we should stand up against these added wordings. A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Carry on with the discussion, this is a side note.

There is nothing going on today that is not notable. It has happened before. It's like a cycle that continues to go around. The Church gets worldly, the world gets worse because of it, and then the young people get fed up and they rebel, and then they want truth, so they seek God and in time a revival is birthed, after that persecution, which goes on for several years, as people pray for the nation they are living in, the government passes laws for Christians to practise their faith without harassment. Then the government adopts the Christian principles into their judicial system even in governmental offices, and their is a sense of righteous living even amongst the world because the Church is doing what it's supposed to be doing, standing for the truth of Gods word. When those days come, people don't have to lock their doors. Schools will be a place where you'll want to send your kids to learn. Sex education is left up to the parents, and guns will not be seen in schools. Those times will be called "the good old days".

The wicked will moan and do everything under the cover of darkness to match their heart.

Nothing is new under the sun. This will all come around again. And in some country, God is grooming a nation that will see righteousness flow down like a river and will bless that nation.

"This concurrent latter rain revival and great falling away constitute the final harvest, the separation of the wheat and the tares. It will also entail a final separation of the saints from the Babylonic religious system. "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins." Rev. 18:4"

I couldn't agree with you more. A revival in their back yard would only serve to validate their insincerity and encourage their avarice; but in the long run, I think it impossible. Jesus prophecies of a pure and spotless bride, and the wife of the Lamb, who has; "Made herself ready." This does not speak of the unrepentant proud and the Nicolaitan, nor repugnant Babylon; man's system and control of worship.

The bible also prophecies that the glory of the latter house, shall exceed the glory of the former, and in Amos speaks of a time when the plowman should be overtaken by the treader of grapes....INSTANT FRUIT! This is the church flowering in full maturity, and there is no doubt though, that suffering and tribulation will accompany this company as the DAY draws near.

This is how I see it. There are more leaving the church systems today than ever before, and more organic moves and churches than ever before, as the Lord prepares His bride. The wise virgins had oil. Could this be symbolic of true Holy Spirit relationship?

I might add that many men in the clergy/ laity system are sincere, and doctrinally sound, but in the long run, via the quenching of the Holy Spirit, create barrenness in spite of their noble intentions, and set the flame of Apostasy by virtue of His Absence. They create the FORM of Godliness, with hollow cores; their is no life!

Jesus exhorted of the Pharisee's, "Do as they say, [..because they sat in the seat of Moses; they were doctrinally and clinically correct ], "but do not DO as they do." So it often is today, even with good men in the pulpit. Because the body is separated from the Head, by virtue of a single man dominating the entire functions of the church, [ and the Church is NOT the meeting..]we are left with a lifeless, religious void, that we have been sold as REALITY; the way it ought to be.

It is a far cry from the vibrant life of the early church that created "Great Joy", as they met from house to house, and sadly, a part of religious Babylon; the dead church, or at least the "Dying church."

Let us never forget that the Church was always and is always the Church of "THE LEAST OF THE BRETHREN," and this notion of an anointed "PRIEST CLASS"....[ "the Pastor!" ] did not exist. Yes, their were shepherds, but always plural, and always equal and equally submitted to one another. By allowing this order, the Headship of Jesus as Lord of the assembly and Body is destroyed, as He is rejected and quenched.

Yes, even good men can be a part of the problem, and to survive, not just the common, but the Pastors too, must "COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE!" to see Jesus as Lord and King over that which He redeemed.

Malachi spoke of the special treasure of the Lord that he would possess in the last days; the day of the Lord. he promises this very discernment of the tares, and also His holy ones. Here He speaks of the essence of the harvest, the great separation culminating in eternal dwelling places.

Our home church we left about a couple of yrs ago, just last Sunday...the pastor rode a motorcycle into service to promote the new "ministry", motorcycles for Jesus. :-(

Brothertom:...It'd hard to tell when the model of a plurality of Pastors fell, but both Paul in Acts 20, those who would "draw disciples after themselves" and the apostle John, in 3John, with Diotrophes, who "loved the preeminence among them", had to confront these usurpers. The seeds of ambitious power were sprouting even in the most primitive of church plants.

Later, in Rev:2,....[no more than 40 years..] The Lord Jesus himself speaks to John, about these; to the churches of Ephesus and Pergamos: the NICOLAITANS. [ Ephesus was a very large "model' Church..]

It is a word that means Kings or Lords over the lay, or the common. It is the Babylonian system as defined in every Empire in the ancient world, where Kings ruled absolutely, with a court, or underlords that implemented his will. It was forbidden by the Apostles , and Peter and Paul both championed the Priesthood of the believer, and always a plurality of shepherds and a company of ministers. Brotherhood and equality, with all submitting to the Lordship of Jesus; the Spirit, the Lord.

It was the Lord Jesus Himself who coined the term "Hirelings", which brings us to our modern terminology, "Professional Ministers", including "the PASTOR". This was an oxymoron to the Apostles. It was attacked too, while they lived. I like what Jesus says about that. "The hireling flees because he is a hireling". Otherwise, when the perks of power and the cash is gone; so is he. Easy rider...and when hardship or persecution comes, well....SIANARA! ADIOS!

I went to the underground church in China, in 2007. We met by night, under cover and Christian sentries. Most of the Pastors had fled, abandoned their flocks, but not all! There were women, 3 or 4 to each man. You see, they had been tried, and many failed. To lay your life down for your brother is more than a good slogan, and that is the Shepherds duty and calling. Rare indeed in soft, plush America ; for now.

We must also remember that Jesus Himself, the MODEL for all itinerant ministries, was supported by those who followed Him; often women; sisters. Paul said; "muzzle not the OX that treads put the grain!"..speaking of the SENT ones. There are full times ministers , and it is not there fault if they are famous. We cannot make blanket statements that imply that everyone is corrupt or out of God's will, for God looks upon the Heart.

Robby K...so good to hear from you. It's all kind of like a dream, isn't it? I cannot believe the naked hatred that I experience, and almost every day I live. I live in a rural area in southern Illinois, near Paducah, Kentucky. The area has several full fledged satanic covens, with most of them drawn to religious mainline churches, where they are members. I think of one of my favorite and more sobering faith promises; "You shall be hated by all!"....MATT:10.. It's really happening!

This is precisely the HARVEST hand in hand with the great falling away. One goes to the Lord's Barn....The new Earth and then to New Jerusalem forever; and one is sent to the fire, the fire that is never quenched. "Behold the goodness, and the severity of the lord!" It scares me, as I am so aware of my failure and flesh.

Bentley and the withering.
There is such a thing as withering. "Jesus saw that the fig tree had no fruit, and He cursed it. Upon return to those parts, they beheld the fig tree, and it had withered, and they marveled."

Lakeland and Bentley have been flourishing, and as much as a splash is concerned, he made a cannonball run, maybe as much as any one man since the venerable Benny Hinn, or even for a brief moment, Billy Graham. He was on every major American news cast....most charismatic leaders have fawned and bowed before him in their glowing accolades and endorsements...and now....it's over.

I believe he became a victim of his own outrageous and pathological lies. His penchant for ever increasing whoppers, and Elijah like encounters, combined with the sorcery like visitations became too much. even his own began to back off a bit. There is right now a revisionist history being written of him...and a vast sanitation of his teachings. They are being edited and revised as we speak.

He has a problem. Of course it is a minor problem, in the beginning, when promises are made. It always is. You just say it.... and it's true! Well, after one hundred and twenty days, and about 30 resurrections from the dead, and possibly 10s of thousands of miraculous healings, there does not seem to be any medical verification on anything! Zero. Nada. Zip. The National media saw to that. [Giraldo, God bless him, saw through him, with hard to conceal chuckles.]

Not withstanding as pathological liars do, is the increase of the fib. Minnows flitter amazingly in the bowl, you are amazed, but Moby Dick emerges and flops into your living room, and he gets your attention. Todd Bentley became his own worst enemy. He could not restrain himself. He had to reach for the Elijah mantle. Conversing with Abraham and the Apostle Paul was not enough. Traveling through time, and God always directing you, audibly was not enough. The great Angel of the Winds of change at his beck and call, protecting and anointing him, was not enough. Tumors exploding out of bodies at his great anointing was not enough. Emma was not enough. Wigglesworth audaciousness was not nearly enough, as he created the gravely ill, and knocked teeth out of the infirmed....with a full mount that would make the WWF swoon....[and that on an old lady!] bam! bam! bam Allah koolia!

But really, there was more to the story than this. It was, and is strong delusion. It was a dividing line, a separate, a harvest, if you will. Many, many of the charismatic leaders of my time, saw something that must have resembled Elijah, in their perceptions. when solid Believers in Jesus saw imps, and demons, our most honored Prophets and Apostles saw light! They lined up to endorse Todd. The great leader of the end time harvest! In a way, they were right...but not in the way they thought. They have been identified, by their embracing of the thing that murders, with the murderer. They have become accomplices, by virtue of association.

Bob Jones, The "Apostolic commission; C. P. Wagner, Dutch sheets, Chuck Pierce, Jim Goll, and all of their crew, [who demand your submission to their perceived authority] Paul Cain, Charisma magazine, the former Lakeland chiefs, All of the Toronto leaders, Randy Clark, Che Ahn, the ambulance of the Assembly of God in Springfield.....on and on. Pastors uncountable, and too many other so called leaders to name. I think of rick Joyner....I am sick to go on. Soaking prayer, with a pure Hindi doctrine of transcendental guided imagery; the emptying of the mind to translate yourself into the realms of Heaven through focus, and voiding of all conviction to EXPERIENCE....OH TO HAVE A VISION!!! AND OF COURSE , THEY DO!

At this moment, they are trying to convince Scottish believers to open their minds to receiving Angels...and laughter as joy from God. Todd's packing to Europe.

In Luke, the Lord said that the Harvest is the End of the age. He said he would send forth the angels to bundle the wicked.....the tares...for fire. He also said he would separate the righteous , the wheat to take into his storehouse...Heaven. The Harvest is not about the great evangelistic move in the End, alone...it is also about the Evil being divided unto judgment. This, is that.

This has been the most obvious unscriptural carnival of parading imps, possibly in the 20th, and 21st centuries. It is more bizarre than Mormonism was ever elevated to in the annals of the magic show. It is so obvious, that babes in Christ know, much less anyone who has actually read the new testament. It is therefore....strong delusion....sent by God! God sent it! To separate the wheat, and the other. "The harvest is the end of the age! Bentley is sent by God, in this sense.

Only a deep repentance coupled with a Godly sorrow will absolve these leaders who endorsed this Liar and false Prophet. The blood of the Lamb will not be trodden on without some retribution. God is not mocked, and that is all Lakeland and Bentley are really about. I do not wish them Firelake.

It is Harvest Time! The last thing I want to say, is that God has heard the many, many persistent cries to stop this dark parade. God had his timing...to wait until it came to some maturity, and used it to approve those who are and were faithful to Him, through Bentley's perverted dog and monkey show. I believe it is over in Lakeland, though they are trying to rebuke the blanket over them away. It has become dry, and boring....the kiss of death for any magic and animal show. The music is off key, and the shouts of victory are hollow. time to vamoose! Shim dag doomariah!

On a serious note, the wake of sorrow and confusion left behind is what our prayers should be directed too now. There will be many, many young ones thinking God let them down, or depressed when they are not pumped by the special effects, and adrenaline, thinking that God is a deserter. There will be those numbed by it all...and this maybe the most numerous group of all, and possibly the Devil's intent. Let us ask God to take time out and visit each of these, and reveal to them that this was not Jesus at all, but ancient impostors who desire worship due only Him.

Also, the many who were let down by false hope. It really does make the heart sick.

To the many who sought God for an end to this travesty, and to those who stood against , thank you. It turned out to be a united front, more than the Devil bargained for. Thank you who suffered the backlash of Hell for your stand, and thank you for those who understood the times and seasons; the sheer gravity of the innocent being so clearly devoured by the wolf. Thank you seasoned intercessors, and the young one's too. There is a cost, when approaching an army of 10,000, and you seem to be only 300. The battle is not a fairy tail. This has been real, and costly, with many casualties. Let us not put down our swords yet. Keep praying, as you are burdened. Let us be like Samuel in the face of AGAG! Yip! That's the spirit!

I emphatically do NOT want to turn this thread into a Todd Bentley warning, but simply that it happened. 10 or 20 years ago, it would have been unthinkable, and as you, RobbyK, have reported about Babylonian witchcraft and the spirit of Sodom becoming ascendant in Wisconsin; It's incredible to me...dreamy. Madison is the home of the cheese, and Norwegian athletes, and Apple Pie!..The heartland...but evidently no more.

This is the End of the Age, and it's Harvest time. There is a separation going on, and it's real. 2 camps. The Devil's, and the Lord Jesus'.

20 years ago this inclusionary Gospel; a gospel that includes new age agendas and political / socialist dovetailing would have been isolated immediately as anti Christ. Because the church as a whole allowed just a tiny bit of it, it grew, and as yeast, obtained control and infiltration over the whole loaf.

HATE SPEECH, and thereby illegal. It is illegal to CARRY a bible in government institutions, and the Satan worshiping cults , such as the Wikken, have Satan's star over the honored dead at Arlington National Cemetery.

This was accomplished through the changing of laws, and by political activists that challenged her. The church in America backed down, and capitulated; leaving us with the church of the half gospel, and the rest is against Christ; antiChrist. It is the church of every path leading to God, and all faiths sufficient to obtain Heaven. This was the message of Obama to the world as Rick Warren stumbled through his universalist ideas about faith at the inauguration , [supposedly Christian].

What is happening is "intimidation", and it is the heart and soul of it's big brother, terrorism. It is, and has been the strategy of every totalitarian regime that has ever been on Earth, and you better not resist, OR ELSE!

The Church has become leavened, and really but an extension of the larger spirit, political and social institutions, that hate the Lamb of God, and his holy Word, and love rebellion, and their rights to do, and to sin as they well please! ME!,ME!, ME!..I'm at my best when I'm blessed. We are watching the great falling away, day by day, as we speak, and I agree, it's going to get much, much worse as this spirit multiplies it's deception.
