I just got a star by my name that says "Not to shy to talk".I thought that when I got my 1st star that Bill Gates would send me a check for $100. I also thougth that Cracker Barrel would email me a $20 gift certificate. I have also been watching for something really cool to pop up on my screen. But none of this has happened. I feel so decieved. I worked hard to come up with enought "Intelligent" things to say to get my first star. I can't take this. I'm outa here!So Long!Good Bye!It was fun while it lasted!PJ

I have even been thinking of buying one of those dictionaries containing only shortenings to be able to solve this mystery - lol.One learns both this and that by looking through postings like these too, even how to earn an extra point or two in the ladder-climbing game.Keep shining

My family called him on 3 or 4 occasions. He was always very kind and never seemed bothered. For my graduation my mother called to see if she could buy everyone of his books for me. He said that he didn't think he had any of his books on hand. In the mail a few days later I recieved in an autgraphed copy of "Tried and Transfigured". The more I look back on this the harder it is to believe that he took the time for such acts of kindness. What a guy! What a guy!In the future I hope to write a lengthy post of how Leonard Ravenhill has impacted my life.PJ

Hi Kevin,Well, you could stop posting so I and everyone else could pass you! Then you wouldn't have to see yourself on the fronta page anymore! LOLCatch me if you can!:-D

Catch me if you can!I know you guys are having fun joking around about this, but there is a very serious part to this also. Someone has actually contacted me and was concerned that there name was appearing on the front page, they didn't feel that this was a humble thing and actually stopped posting so that their name could disapper off that list. I personally think this is a weak display of Chrisitan character for Jesus said: 'let your left hand not know what your right hand is doing'. But for the sake of any brother or Sister in Christ please don't joke around about this feature of the site like it is a prestigous thing. I just don't want to cause anyone to stumble in their heart. I mean this in the most gentle way possible! ;-)

If that's the case then perhaps the best thing you can do is eliminate that feature of the site for the weak brother or sister if that is a stumbling block. I don't think it's a matter of prestige or pride at all and realize that I post alot so my name is going to be there. I could care less whether it is or isn't. I'm certainly not going to stop posting just because it is. And I do not think a little fun jesting in good taste is unreasonable. After all we are just people. If we always must keep things on a dead serious line then this website will become dry and laborious and lose the special character it has. Perhaps this brother/sister needs to rethink the whys. Sometimes even a desire to not be noticed can be evidence of pride. The one who is always the quietest is not necessarily the most spiritual by any means.Kevin

I hope you don't stop posting :-D If we always must keep things on a dead serious line then this website will become dry and laborious and lose the special character it has.You are right there also. I feel a liberty to joke around and have a good time also and at the same time benefit from the fellowship.Perhaps this brother/sister needs to rethink the whys. Sometimes even a desire to not be noticed can be evidence of pride. The one who is always the quietest is not necessarily the most spiritual by any means. Thanks for the input here also, I really think you are right and with that stated, ktrek you have the go-ahead to joke around more but not beyond limits for the scripture says: "neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks." - Ephesians 5:4

To me it's a sign of a good spirit when someone can actually listen to someone elses opinion and possibly change their view accordingly. You didn't let pride block your judgment. I'm starting to believe that you are for real!PJ
