~~~~Christian's speech deemed 'hateful propaganda'
A Christian student in the Los Angeles Community College District is carrying his free-speech case to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jonathan Lopez had an assignment in a public speaking class and was required to give an informative speech on any topic. Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) attorney David Hacker tells OneNewsNow that Lopez chose to speak about his Christian beliefs. "And during that speech, when he mentioned that marriage is between a man and a woman according to his Christian beliefs, the professor called him this horrible name, refused to let him finish the assignment, and told other students in the class, 'If you're offended, you can leave,'" Hacker explains. ...
Just shows how much the world hates the gospel! Even when we aren't "pushing" it on people.
Sad that the teacher said he could talk about ANY topic and then went back on his word. You think the teacher will be more restrictive next time they do informative speeches? Probably.
Soon there will come a day when we can no
longer preach the Blood of the Lamb, the
sacrifice of the cross, the judgment to
come and the wrath of GOD, and the fate
of sinners.
It will be considered "hate speech" and
a crime !!
Soon there will come a day when our
allegiances and loyalties will be put to
the test. Are you ready to be despised,
rejected, and persecuted because you honor,
follow, and serve Christ ??
Soon is coming a Day when those who belong
to the Body of Christ will need each other
more than ever. We need to encourage, inspire,
help one another to fight and stand because
our LORD is coming soon !!
Maybe this is what it will take to separate the wheat and the chaff. If so then I welcome the purifing.
