ALAS!! It is an infinite righteousness
that must atone for our sins; for it is
an infinite GOD who has been offended
by us. If ever your sins be pardoned,
it is because His infinite mercy has
pardoned them. If ever you be reconciled
unto GOD, it is because His infinite
merit has done it. If ever your heart
be changed, and your soul renewed; it
is His infinite power to effect it; and
if ever your soul escapes hell, it is
because His infinite grace has saved it!!
