Wow, you pulled further than what we were looking at. (Here i was looking only for the end of the section mentioned and became oblivious to the rest the passage in Isaiah 54-56, Ezekeil 34-36 is in conjuction in several respects).
Now, onto all eyes:
From this perspective here, it seems wherever the false proclaimers are mentioned, there is usually admonishment to see we are right before God ourselves.
Marking and warning is one thing but judging is another thing entirely. It stands in opposition to forgiveness.
Where would the church be without Paul who was marked and everybody was wary about him. (Look at Annias's response to the Lord when he was told that Paul was heading for the street called Straight).
BTW, for those who look down on those in jail...a majority of the scripture we have was written in just such places.
Abraham was a liar.
Isaac mocked and was full of levity.
Jacob lied, mocked, swindled, had 4 wives, and let his family worship idols, two of his sons murdered, and 10 attempted killing Joe, their own brother, after their hatred for him became to much to hold in... ()do you see the progression of what is going on?)
Later we read different things:
Gideon worshipped Baal,
David was an Adulterer and murdered to hide his sin,
Lot committed idolatry,
Moses was a murderer,
Samson cavorted with godless women,
Saul/Paul was a murderer in extreme and struck out with a vengeance he considered righteous indignation...
The prophets murmured and complained to God
(that one is for me and others here as well)...
need this continue?
Now taking into account all these things, if we were to disgard everything written in the Bible through these or about these, we would not even have a Bible.
Be very careful about who you talk about instead of what.
Sheep and Goats in judgement is about Jesus Christ judging the nations and is not ours to do, we of the True Israel.
To be able to judge rightly, one must be able to see clearly another's intentions in their heart and that counts me out. How about you?
In the New Testament, putting together the stuff from the Old with it, without references, -(time for work is closing in again)- except one verse, it goes like this:
1. Seek and recieve God's forgiveness
2. Judge not and you will not be judged.
3. Forgive and you will be forgiven.
4. I Tim 2:1 (all means all)
5. Forgive that your prayers will be heard.
6. Mark and avoid.
7. Focus and rely on the Author and Finisher of our Faith
8. Judge yourself and you will not be judged.
(Is that order right???)
In essence, continual blatherings about things that are more than obviously wrong don't need any more publicity.
If there is not anybody that you know personally that has been duped, just pray for those who have, and towards the end that more will not be.
If there is not anybody that can expound about these false doctrines of their demons, and give clear scriptural advice to follow instead, shut up and pray.
Love covers a multitude of sins, so are you walking in the love of Jesus Christ that should be shed abroad in your heart?
Not living in such a way is spurious, and bears fruit in your life of the same. That which does not last does not last. So don't decieve yourself and be taken in by and with it.
Gal. 6:7
Putting any man down to give an aire of self-righteous hypocritical superiority stinks to high heaven, AND GOD IS NOT PLEASED!
WE grow not by focusing on the conditions of the world around us.
We all progress in this the Faith by focusing on Jesus. There is no not any other way.
How about doing that for a change?
i just can't believe such threads keep on and on and on and...
What do you think God will do about you focusing on the man instead of their message, which should not even be mentioned in the first place. whose to blame, the man decieved or the spirit behind it... be we continue to look at these things just like the world does. Sisters and brothers, these things just should not be.
What if we focused on the man in the first mentioned instances of the Bible ancients?
Where would we be today?
Quit focusing on these men and their messages unless it's in your face (this too is by God's grace for His purpose).
Jesus said to pray and watch how?
Look up for you redemption draweth nigh.
Quit looking in the wrong direction and focus where you know you should, leading others that right(eous) way with you.
Our redemption is not here on earth, neither in clay vessels nor in the mud. Quit wallowing in it.
Get a grip on God and never let go.
Focus on Life (eternal) and not on death.
Does everybody uinderstand?
