Hi! Any good sermons on here that discuss waiting on the Lord for answers to prayer or trusting God when you are discouraged? God bless...

Also, any sermons about God's providence or how God is in control regardless of the circumstances?

Thank you!

HI Katbryant, try these pieces....

http://scottishwarriors.wordpress.com/2008/01/01/gods-plan-will-not-be-thwarted/ This one is about the nature of our walk with Jesus and how much we actually contol.

This piece also looks at the will of God and how we relate to it............. http://scottishwarriors.wordpress.com/2008/08/06/gods-mysterious-will-how-can-we-know-what-it-is/ ....brother Frank

Wayne Grudem has a podcast for his book Systematic Theology where he lectures on the Providence of God. A must listen. I would also recommend Monergism.com for sermons on this subject.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I will be looking into these very soon. The Sys Theo text I am already familiar with from seminary at Southwestern. A friend had a copy and coveted it like the ten commandments or ark of the covenant! LOL.. I never bought a copy and I think I will look this up on line! God bless you for all these ideas!
