How do we get here? How do you get a fervent spirit?

Amen brother.
I have also been meditating and praying on this a lot. I actually read something the other day that gave a very good definition of what it means to be fervent. I thought it was Gurnall, but have yet to find it.

Found this quote though.

The promises are the ground of faith, and faith, when strengthened, will make thee fervent, and such fervency ever speeds and returns with victory out of the field of prayer...The mightier any is in the Word, the more mighty he will be in prayer. William Gurnall

Scripturally...
Fervent prayer, fervent service, fervent mind, fervent charity, fervent in Spirit..

Good insights. Thank you!
