We need to move from seeking after the favour and blessings of God to the place of seeking after the real and actual Person of God Himself. It should not be about His prosperity but His purity, not His riches but His righteousness, not only His hand but His holiness, not only His favour but His measure of faith, not only His hand but striving to win His heart. It is possible to seek after the things of God and miss God, but it is impossible to seek after God and miss the things of God.
