I just wanted to have prayer again for the demonic spirits that are afflicting my mind and body, if you could pray for my deliverance and to be set free from these spirits that are trying to bound my body and that they be cast out in Jesus name amen.

I don't want to come across as uncaring or callous but I need to let you know what I feel is your number one problem in dealing with your affliction. You need to stop seeking relief in rituals and formulas. You need real faith in the Lord and not this "hopin' and a prayin', tried this and tried that without success". You are waiting to believe after you see results and not before. Prayer is not like getting sprinkled with magic fairy dust so stop looking at it like that. You need some spiritual backbone and resist the enemy by tearing down strongholds of lies, arguments and imaginations that do not submit to obedience to Christ. Resist sexual temptation by proclaiming who you are in Christ by the new birth. And then trust Him to carry you through. Don't focus on the temptation itself, look and think on Jesus. Again, you won't succeed unless you have confident and assured trust and faith in Jesus to get you through times of temptation victoriously. If you feel panicky, I can assure you that you will fall. Be like Jesus in the back of the boat during the storm, totally calm because you know and trust Him to protect you. But after following your desperate posts now for some time, I feel I need to tell you to stop trying and trusting in rituals and formulas to get deliverance.
Trust the Lord in times of temptation. Don't focus on the temptation itself. Just like tight-rope walkers, don't look down, look to where you want to be.
Take authority over the enemy by proclaiming who you are in Christ: Purchased by Jesus' blood unto good works.
Cast down thoughts, arguments, imaginations, and lies that don't honor and submit to the Lordship of Jesus.
Learn to calm yourself when temptation is at the door.
If you feel the pressure is on you to perform, you will fail because you are trusting in yourself. If you look to the Lord to deliver you and wait on Him, He will.
Again, I love you in Christ and hope I haven't hurt your feelings by coming on aggressively in this matter. I am praying for you, but you need some courage of your own anchored in Christ Himself and the Holy Spirit and not in anything outside of Him.

Hi there...I dont really have clear answers but what I do have is understanding and my experience. Having recently come out of 20 yrs in occult I understand what it is like to be attacked by demons at night - although I have been delivered this still happens from time to time..am also facing a serious health challenge which I think originated as a result of my occult involvement...
I read a testimony of an ex-satanist who was delivered by Gods grace which encouraged me. In that he offered some insight into this which I found helpful.
1. Satan only bothers to attack truly effective believers, he does not waste his time with hypocrites....this encouraged me that if I was being attacked at least as far as he is concerned I am a true believer and no longer a part of his kingdom...
2. The true believers are surrounded by a wall of fire and God's angels - this is how they are recognised in the spirit realm...they actually cannot touch us unless there is unconfessed sin in our lives...this is the only thing that allows him a foothold...hence the importance of immediate confession and serious repentance.
3. When believers who are in right standing with God speak God's Word aloud or the name of Jesus they see fire coming out of our mouths.
4. Again such a true believer when singing the praises of God throws the demonic realm into confusion and chaos.
5. The blood of Jesus is a protecting force which demons cannot penetrate again unless we have allowed sin into our lives.
Finally I just wanted to share an experience which may encourage you. One night I was having one such attack..it is normal during these episodes that I cannot move or speak and was desperately trying to say the name of Jesus. I had been for about a month confessing several scriptures out loud daily, one of which was "Behold I have given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm you' and 'the Word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword....' As I was lying there I just began to remember the first scripture and what happened next was incredible to say the least...I literally felt a force coming out of my chest and then saw it emerge from within me in the form of a sword...this sword started slashing in the air above me and within seconds the attack was over...
Some may think this is weird, but I truly believe when we meditate and study and ponder and read aloud and pay earnest and holy reverence to God's Word and place our faith in it, it becomes this living force in our spirits and when I could not speak or fight it came to my rescue.
Its not to say I have never had another attack...and I dont even know if never having another attack is the answer but rather being in a place of peace and constant rightstanding with God - we are in a warfare in this world and should expect attention from the enemy particulary if we have left his kingdom and are now serving the Lord Jesus wholeheartedly.

Thank you fireheart for the testimonies. The enemy really does try to mess with those trying to get into the kingdom or who our trying to live all out for Jesus. The last few days though sometimes hard have in a sense begun to open up the lie of the enemy to me, i truly have been believing a lie for some time and not God's word or voice, i have been listening to demons. I am reading the scripture more now, also i am in prayer more and am reading a very good spiritual warfare book that exposes much of the false spiritual warfare today, it is realy great because what does God word say. That sermon by mark Greening is really good to, it combats scripture with the lie of the enemy.

The word of GOD is a weapon, the knowledge
of the truth and obedience to it will

I agree the word of God is a weapon. I still am wondering though with my struggles whether or not these spirits are just afflicting my body or can actually enter my body and stay their, if you could pray about what ever it is that the Lord would set me free from it.

He has already done his work on the hypocrite and has them in chains.
There is deliverance from the Lord for hypocrites, too.
Starts with truth to reveal your deception and then repentance.

can you please pray for me i am being severely under demonic attack right now and i am realizing i am really lost Christ does not dwell within me. Please pray for my protection from the enemy until Christ saves me.
Honestly, I think your "attacks" have more to do with severe anxiety than the devil. Yes the enemy is probably happy that you are going through these anxiety attacks because it keeps you in fear and not walking in confidence in your faith. I have had tons of experience with fear and anxiety and I know that it seems like it is something supernatural that you can't control- but that is not true. It is up to you to decide to renew your own mind and take control of your thoughts and actions. The enemy would like nothing more than for you to believe that you are not in control of any of this- that it is happening TO you. Many many people have issues with fear and anxiety and don't know what it is. Please message me or email me if you want further information. You don't have to live like this. I did for a short time and now I am free of fearful, doubtful thoughts.
Don't go looking for the devil in everything that happens. Sometimes it is our own mind, our own thinking that is causing our bodies to respond in fear and weird reactions. If our thinking can make us sick, then it can make us have other symptoms too. Please have hope. I know how you feel. But there are other answers.

Are you part of a church, bible4life? If so, does your pastor know what all has been going on with you? I don't know much about your situation, but would encourage you to get in church and under a pastor. It's easy to be carried about with every wind of anything that comes your way of you don't have someone who can check you out, show you what you're doing wrong, what your doing right, and what you need to do. God never intended anyone to be a loner/not in a church.

We had just voted out our pastor, i am kind of looking right now, really wish i knew where to go.
I know it's easier said than done, but if you can't find a church in your area, you really ought to consider moving someplace where there is a good church. --It's really that important.

the other day as you might know i started the job at the warehouse and i tried to work through it knowing my past struggles with my back, well i tried to walk out in faith and let the Lord take care of me and i only made it through the first 6 hours. That night my back started to really bother me, but i prayed and it seemed to get better, but then yesterday i woke up and if i made the smallest movement it bothered me and if i lifted up anything it bothered, me i really was scared about it. It seemed when these demonic attacks started happening they would atack my back area and my back would get weaker, so their is no doubt in my mind that these made it worse. I went to a church last night and told of my need of prayer to the pastor, he prayed for me and they actually after their meeting branched away in groups to ray with one another which i liked. I am still trying to find that right church too, please continue to pray for me. am really struggling.
i am going to this church tommorow, let me know what you think of this pastors sermons if you want to let me know what you think.
I would add to the posts by saying that there is also a very pragmatic element to all this.
Is your environment clean? Is your home or living space clean from ungodly influences, i.e. TV, rock music, internet, computer games, what books do you have on your shelves, magazines, imagary, posters, paintings, art, sculptures, anything like this. Is you home or livng space dedicated to the Lord? Who do you hang out with? What does your lifestyle consist of, what do you spend your hours doing, thinking about, dwelling upon?
The best way to stop contamination is to remove the contamining source influence! Ancient Israel was commanded to purge the leaven out of their homes on a regular basis. Its simple house keeping, and it does matter.
Pray that the Lord may show you if there is anything in your home He does not like.
Having done this, then proceed to Spiritual Warefare 102, points b. and c., it's faith and action that leads to victory. You have to step over the Jordan into the promised land.
Theologically:
True salvation means that Christ dwells within. It is therfore impossible for a demon and the Holy Spirit to occupy the same space. You can not be indwelt with a demon, but you can be harrased by them externally. If their are demons in you, you are not saved. If they are hangin around you, then you need to get them to leave you alone.

I do have t.v and internet, but i am not using them wrongly for myself. My family on the other hand is not saved and uses the television and internet sometimes in ungodly ways, watching very sinful television shows. My wife and i actually are pretty good at keeping everything pretty godly in our room. I have got rid of mostly every ungodly movie or book. But i don't see that as a problem, we barely hang out with anyone to be honest with you.
Ok, its just something to think about as many people do not realise how their physical environment effects their mental and spsiritual state. And how ones lifestyle can be detrimental to a producutive spiritual walk.
From what you say it sounds like your livinbg a clean life.
I'm not being in any way judgemental, I don't even know you, its just some pointers about areas and things to think about, if things are affecting you in any way. I leave it with you to pray about.

The last 6 months or so has been hard for me as you all know harder than anything i ever went through physically and mentally. I have tried staying away from posting on here as of late about this. One thing i just want to thank you all who have prayed for me. I need your prayers. One thing i have realized over this time is that i have been being attacked by spirits that have been trying to strongly convince me of things that are just not true and bring false guilt and condemnation on me. It got so bad i was actually believing going to work was a sin or that i was going to be punished because i went to work with woman their. It was getting so bad that i was thinking because i said certain things a certain way or talked about godly things that i might get punished in my back. A few days ago i started fighting against the lies and tried to refuse to believe the lies. I started getting stronger, but even as i started getting stronger these thoughts started coming more efficient, i would start having evil thoughts and the spirit of laughter would come up about others in pain or who were hurting and then those condemning thoughts would come again. Some of those evil thoughts would just bring me down so much that i start to believe i deserve to be punished. So please keep me in prayer i don't know why these thoughts are coming and why their is this spirit of laughter in me or from these spirits, i really dont want them. If anybody has struggled with this or thoughts it would be great to hear for ,my encouragement. So basically i explained what has been going on with me. I also have attended this baptist church for 2 out of the last 3 weeks and really have been fed, enjoyed, and convicted while their. The worship is great, we read two chapters as a congregation every sunday outloud as someone reads it. This week was psalm 65 and 66. Then the pastor preaches for 30 to 40 minutes, this weeks topic was hebrews 9 I think 19-24 or 25. It was about Christ's finished work on the cross and the boldness we can have to go the Father unlike and assembling together not for us but for other brothers and sisters to edify them to good works and love. So keep me in prayer in finding a church this one has impressed me. Please also pray for the presence of these evil spirits and their oppresion to be gone to.
hi, the JOYof the LORD is your strength. the only way you will have joy is to realize that Jesus died for you personally and loves you and counts every hair on your head. that performance has nothing to do with your salvation because He already took your death sentence on Himself for you. He has written your name in the Lambs book of life.when you ask the Father do you remember when i sinned? the Father will say no,ido not remember you sinning for when I look at you I see nothing but the blood of My Son.to be saved is to be forgiven but you have been reconciled which is like being invited to come and dine with Him. quit listening to people who will put bondage on you and read the red and see how much Jesus loves you. your sorrow will turn into joy and you can take your harp down from the willow tree and praise Him for it.jimp
