Heavenly Father,
we know that You are in control of all politics, governments, and world leaders, and ask that You would guide North Korea in the days ahead. Father we have been faithful in praying for North Korean Christians who continually suffering for Your sake; today we ask specifically that Your Holy Spirit would strengthen them as they look to You above politics and worldly matters. Your Word says, "Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told." Habakkuk 1:5. Father, today we cling to this promise. And for Christians in Laos who face much opposition because of their faith, we ask that they, and all Christians around the world, will be able to celebrate the birth of Your Son without hindrance. Father, we know that You are sovereign and control all things, so as the season of Christmas is upon us, we pray for peace between all people throughout the world. Amen
