If I say that I am not a teacher according to the calling of God then I am speaking the truth. If I were to say I have a gift of faith to teach, then I would be speaking the truth as well. If I were to say hear listen to me and draw near, I would become a false teacher and a liar.
On the other hand there is a calling of God in every man's life, if he is indeed called, and each of us are called and chosen if we have believed in the Son. Not only this, each one of the "called and the chosen" in their own lives come to learn what is the measure of God's calling in their lives. Otherwise we loose sight of God and Christ.
In truth I can't teach you anything. But drawing attention to present realities in a man's life may see like teaching.
Suppose I were to say "he who waits patiently upon the Lord will prosper."
Would this be the Truth, a truth or simply true.
It sounds as though it ought to be true, but what is its defining quality. What is its substance. If I were to look throughout the whole Word of God I could not find such a verse. Yet I know that countless saints would be unable to disagree with the truth it contains. How is this possible.
The Word of God is a living Word. Thats it!
One may read a particular Scripture and forgetting the form of words, still keep the meaning. This is God's wisdom. One ought to quote Scripture accurately and yet it is a fact that all those who believe, in their most passionate moments, express wonderful truth without the precise form.
Consider this Scripture: Psalm 40 1-3
1 I waited patiently for Jehovah; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay; And he set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in Jehovah.
This is the form and "he who waits patiently upon the Lord will prosper" is the spirit.
Jesus said, "whosoever believes in Me, from his inner most parts shall flow rivers of living water".
The letter of the Word is sacred, but the Spirit of the Word is eternal life.
What you believe seems to me to hinge on two principle ideas. One is a sacred truth, the other is a blatant lie.
Both of these two things have taken your mind captive, the one to good works and the other to a lie.
You believe that if you don't keep the whole of God's commandments you will not in the end be 'proven' chosen and elect. So you labour after good works. In part this explains why you have been so polite in these posts. You don't want to be found to be in transgression of the law.
You also believe that Satan is female. Strange as it may seem to say it, this belief lies at the root of most of your mind set. It is a grossly more difficult thing to believe, than that you need to keep the whole law of God in order to be proven 'elect'.
The feeling that one has to keep the law of God, for the one who is born again, comes from the revelation that the law of God is holy, righteous and good. Before newness of life we certainly didn't believe that at all. Let alone seek to honour God in it. If on the other hand we try to keep the whole law of God, or even one small part, we will realise very quickly that we can't do it. We have to rely on the resurrection life of Christ working in us, to walk in a manner pleasing to God.
Only you can judge yourself to know whether Christ is in you. This is why I encouraged you to look to yourself and not to teachings for a season.
The provocation of believing that Satan is female is a whole lot more difficult to understand. At the root of it lies a desire of Satan to draw attention to himself and to bring about a delusion which is equal to being in possession of some extraordinary knowledge which only the 'elect' can understand. This is your condition. You said so. The 'shock' you spoke about when you were minded to post a teaching or revelation on the subject was pride in that knowledge.
This is the finger of God for you, if you can believe it.
Clearly I do not know you personally, but what you believe is ancient. It is known. Please examine yourself. You know yourself better than any other, so judge yourself.
This was the original post. How many judgements of God are their? You answered it with a precise answer. 6000 years for man's self rule. 1000 years for the restoration of the earth by Christ and His elect. 100 years to give every soul who had not become the 'elect' to see righteousness at first hand and thereby change their minds and accept Christ.
Apart from the 1000 years the measure you have measured is false. No such measures as you define them, exist in the Scriptures.
To be deceived it is necessary to begin with a lie. This gross distraction from the truth then has the power to form the basis for a whole doctrine of demons.
The lie my friend didn't come from you and it didn't begin with you, but you have believed it. Satan is the father of lies and a liar from the beginning. In him their is no truth. He abrogated his former position by reason of corruption. Even the corruption of his trade. He led others along with Him, they attending to their own wickedness, until they too came under the destruction which God wrought in that wicked one. God brought fire from within his midst and destroyed him. From the inside out. He can only appear like an angel of light, inwardly he is destroyed. You should know it.
