Blessings to you in Christ! I was wondering are they any sisters willing to counsel via emails or phone. There are some issues which I need advice on privately. It would be unwise to discuss these concerns on an open forum. I would be grateful if you could prayerfully consider my request?

There was and maybe still is a google-group for us Sisters from SI. It was a wonderful opportunity for us ladies to be able to share with one another but when I canceled my dial-up a year ago, I could no longer receive those emails.
Maybe one of the sisters could see this and tell if our google-group is still in existance.

I would like to say, I'm in EST [it's 5:55 pm here now] and the later that you could call me, the better - like maybe anytime after 1 pm EST?] It appears The LORD has me on a fixed schedule of doing certain things at certain times. The only thing is that sometimes I'm at or with my Dad or out food shopping.
We can trust The LORD that I'll be here when you call. I am assuming that you have skype or something like it?
If not - if I don't answer by the third ring - I wouldn't want you to be charged to hear the answering machine :)

Praise God indeed dear sister! Thanks for the time zone schedule it can get ever so confusing lol! Hmm i don't use Skype don't know how lol :)! I use calling cards which give me 1000 mins talk time very cheap to call the states! Will buy a calling card tomorrow as the one I have ran out! Looking forward to speaking to you: )

Sis Star, what I have is an old computer and one that can't even get to yahoo-mail. I can't update it. I have to be content with what He has gifted me with. Soon I won't be able to see youtubes as well because of the ancient programs here BUT I BELIEVE THIS IS GOD's Will for me to be so limited.
I don't have the feeling that HE would have it any other way.
But - what I'd like to say, since I can't email nor call is - there are many GOOD Sisters here and that prayer call once a week would be an Awesome means of Exhortation for the Sisters.
Some of these Sisters are fairly New to SI and I can see that HE is sending the cream-of-the-crop here sooooo ....
this burden for a women's ministry branching out of SI has and is still very heavy on me - even if I can't participate - with all Sisters being equal - I pray that they step up to the plate and give out from their lives to each other.
BLESSINGS ALL they are.

I think that is so great that you have done this to help other sisters in CHRIST and to encourage one another. Do you allow any to join your email group or were you looking to keep it smaller for fellowship reasons?

We actually did this about a year ago.
There are not as many emails that go out as there used to be, but perhaps with some new faces, there will be. :)

Amen sister! The thread was started as way of finding ways to counsel each other as sisters only there are some areas in our walk as sisters which would be best shared with sisters only and also drawing wise Godly
counsel from older sisters to younger sisters!
Star and JIG then suggested reviving the google group to share emails and encouragement! It has been a blessing to me so far! And I agree with you that it is a great way to help each other out in the Lord!

Sister, it was Very much a joy to me to hear you and your love for Christ.
I was very much touched by your genuine heart.
Very grateful for that call. A great encouragement to me that He has sent you here and gathering up others as well that are serious in their relationship with Christ Jesus.
Even in churches I seldom meet people as devoted to Him.

It is only Jesus Christ that will keep us in Him! I am greatly humbled by your words because all you have said I do not see that in myself! All I see is my need for Jesus everyday! The temptations and trials I am facing only testify and show my weakness and I have no strength or anything good in me! Christ deserves all the glory! Amen, Dear Sister. The 'joy' has stayed with me whenever I think of that call as well. It's the Love of Christ that brought/brings that joy when we share about Him. A person in love 'is' Joyful! :)
