FYI ... The ring that Obama has worn for more than 30 years says: “There is no God except Allah".

L

Barack Obama's gold band
NEW YORK – As a student at Harvard Law School, then-bachelor Barack Obama’s practice of wearing a gold band on his wedding-ring finger puzzled his colleagues.
Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couple’s wedding ceremony in 1992.
Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: “There is no God except Allah.”

You mention Obama adhering to the Muslim faith ...

Much has been written about this. But I wonder about something, a question I have never seen addressed.

How can Obama be a Muslim but support homosexuality? Are not all Muslims opposed to it? Or support abortion? Are Muslims not opposed to abortion? Yet he supports Islam and supports perversion - are they not at odds with each other?

Does not make sense.

M
Miccah

Ginnyrose,

Respectfully, does anything that Obama does make sense?

The only thing that he has done that I can think of that makes the slightest bit of sense, is giving amnesty to illegal children brought to America when they were young.

Other then that, he is a man of the system, and the system needs an overhaul.

The ring which President Obama is wearing represents fear of Islam and not the love of Islam. It represents his personal knowledge and a foolish agreement which he made in his youth and which he intellectually "proved" when he was unaware of himself. He continues to wear it because he is now in the grip of a profound reality. Having laid his hand to it he cannot be delivered from the realisation that if he rejects it he rejects Islam which he fears. In fear Islam will overtake him. So he wears it as a talisman of fear.

These Christian reportings are so foolish. We, who are supposed to pray for our leaders, get all caught up in these silly ideas.

Wherever there is a conspiracy we can be sure that it's origins can be traced back to a Christian of some sort, we are experts.

I've looked on the net for the Obama Ring thingy and found the idea as being debunked, an urban legend, and/or untrue.

What difference does it make anyway. Bush before him was observing Ramadan in the White House and yet we called Bush a Christian.

Perhaps you should simply get a grip on your self-brother. Some of us are not that easily intimidated by threats no matter how subtle they are. Stop being so conceited by your inflated sense of spirituality. We all know the gospel whether you realize it or not. Who gave you authority to tell anyone to “stop or else”. Just because Americans are obsessed with conspiracy theories doesn’t mean the rest of us have developed such a sense of cynicism. Any one can talk. In the end it will come down to reality not talk.

Some people are reasonably concerned about President Obama's spiritual life. Even if you are not.

I find it interesting, Neil, that Greg posts more articles about Obama and American politics than anyone on this forum. I will agree I find this particular discussion to be a waste of time (and Greg did not post this one), but apparently the mods are allowing some level of political discussion. I think it's unavoidable during an election season.

There does have to be some restraint exercised, there is no doubt. I happen to think that elections and politics can and do effect revival and the spiritual climate of a nation. Especially considering that at the end of the day it's GOD who appoints leaders and puts them in place... not people.

I am not seeing how this is a conspiracy...

Ring or no ring - I think it is noticeable that his positions on most issues of life don't match with the clear teachings of the Scriptures.

I don't need a ring or a "conspiracy" to show me that.

I think the most important thing to do is diligently pray for Biblical repentance and true faith in Christ for people in political positions. From every branch of the federal government to our local town boards, they are all people in desperate need to a Saviour. If they wear a ring or not.

Hmm. Interesting. Very interesting. Getting worked up over tbe Islam of Obama. Yet ignoring tbe Mormonism of Romney. Trading one man controlled by an antichrist spirit for another. Real smart.

Bearmaster.

S
sermonindex

Actually... the Mormonism of Romney has been discussed at length.

It all comes back to this: name ONE spirit filled born again believer who was President of the United States.

We're not voting for a pastor of the nation. We're voting for an administrator. Your income, bearmaster, do you work for a Christian company? Is your boss or the president of the company you work for a Christian? If so... great. I have no idea what you do for a living. If not tho, then by your own words you need to quit, drop out and only work for believers.

Does your milk come from a Christian cow? If not, why?

Rhetorical questions, I know. You never give explanations for the outrageous things you say... you just say them and then "stand down" (run away). But on the off chance you feel obliged... please explain to us all how you manage to live in a Christian bubble where everything and everyone you come in contact with are believers.

We live in the world, or at least we are supposed to be.

My wife and I went to dinner Saturday evening with a "gay couple". Had a great time too. How many people on this forum dare to rub elbows with people like that... like Jesus did. Not many, I think. I dont approve of their relationship, it's sin. But by accepting them as human beings and loving them and showing Christ to them... I am hopeful that God will one day reveal the truth to their hearts.

There is a new current here on this forum of "pull away from the world... seperate from it... get away from sinners". Wrong! Seperate in that we dont participate in the sins of this world, absolutely!... but we are to EMBRACE the world of sinners our there! Get involved!

Romney is not saved. We get that. I dont believe for a minute that Obama is Islamic. If anything he is a deist. Guess what... so were a lot of our founding fathers.

If you feel super spiritual not voting... then dont vote. No one cares. If God has truly called you not to vote, then dont vote because if you do then you sin. If you have freedom in Christ to vote... then pray about who to vote for and then vote.

This whole discussion about his ring is a waste of time. There are plenty of other things wrong with Obama. Heck, there are plenty of things wrong with Romney. But the judgementalism and the smugness with which some so-called brethren on this website treat each other is appalling.

You nailed it Krispy.

I am not voting for a man or a party nearly as much as I am voting for a “chance” for our republic to survive. Thus I will vote for the person that I feel gives us the best chance to protect the Constitutional freedoms we have.

So if a candidate is not a God fearing – Bible believing – Born-Again – Church attending – Spirit-Filled – Mission minded – Praying candidate but instead more closely represents by believes based on the Scriptures should I vote for that person?

What if he is all the above but does not have the same view as I do regarding other issues, what if he differs in the age of the earth, pre-destination, Calvinism vs Arminianism, Bible version, head coverings, use of birth control, Eschatology, debt, Israel and everything else that is argued about on this forum and across the nation in our Churches…

Should will still cast a vote because we want to support the candidate that best give our nation a chance to protect what freedoms we have?

I read this example and it is fitting in this.

You are on a plane. It is in the process of being flown into a mountainside by the current pilot. The flight attendant announces that another pilot is on board. He has much experience piloting airplanes. The potentially new pilot may not meet everyone’s “religious standards” – but he is a proven pilot and promises to at least land the plane safely. Everyone on the plane gets a vote. To your horror, many won’t vote because they don’t like the alternative pilot’s religious views. They said they would just sit in the back of the plane and “pray.” Others said they would rather vote for another passenger, even though he is not a viable “candidate.” The plane crashes into the side of the mountain, killing everyone aboard. Who’s fault was the deadly crash?

Sorry never heard of "White Horse Prophesy".

Not sure where you pulled that out of.

There is not a candidate running that is my Savior. But I am also not going to stick my head in the sand and say I am not going to vote at all.

I believe that a God has established this nation and granted us the freedoms we have in the Constitution. I am not going to avoid voting because the exact cookie cutter candidate isn't running. I will cast my vote for the person who best represents what I hold dear according to the Scriptures.

Not sure why you are bringing up anything about Mormonism in your comment to me. I never said anything about a Mormon. I did not say that the particular candidate was a Muslim, Jew, Mormon, Christian, Atheist...

S
sermonindex

Good points, Iceman. I do not see in the Bible where we are called to remove ourselves from involvement in the societies we live in. Seperate from the sin and debauchery yes indeeed. But be completely not involved in the political process, or in society in general... it's just not in the Bible.

To the soldier Paul said to obey the Lord and obey his commanding officer. To the tax collectors Jesus did not command them all to cease being tax collectors... He told them to cease being scoundrels. Peter did not tell the jailer to stop being a jailer.

I'm certainly not saying Christians should jump into politics and run for every office in the land. The church has made that mistake in the recent past. But we ARE called to salt and light in this world. We do this by living out our faith in the public realm. For some it may mean dying a martyrs death. For others it may mean speaking out for the unborn. For many it means casting a vote against abortion or gay marriage in the voting booth.

If someone can show me where the Bible commands believers to pull out of society and have no public presence... and to avoid any dealings with the government or voting... then I will concede that I am wrong about this.

And even after all of this... I certainly do believe that some people feel convicted in their heart that they should refrain from voting. To that I said "please refrain!". To do otherwise would be a sin for you.

What makes me sick enough to puke however is when someone feels convicted about something they can not believe that God may NOT convict someone else of the same thing... and so we end up sitting in judgement over one another.

That needs to stop.

Hello all,

Well what a beautiful A.M. it truly is. Another day to think & pray how we can make a difference. Sun is shining today in the Rockt Mts.

O bearmaster love love love a good laugh. "Hiyoh Silver."
did it for me!! :-D love it. good medicine.

As far as the white horse theory I have heard of it. But to be sure I did what I always do & guess what the non christian wikipedia solved that, the most disconcerting part they want to come to my neighborhood the Rockies, ugh.

Truth is they are buying up tons of land right around the corner from us.

Any way Krispy made good point too. I get it. All my christian friend and aquaintances are voting for Romney.

It doesn't bother that they are, I hope he wins over the Obamanation that is ruling now. imo that is.

BUT I personally long for Christ to come & rule & reign & be done with earth as we have it. I long for the new Heaven & earth. Isn't that normal for a Christian?

There is no conspiracies in truth.

The bible tells all about Satan's conspiracies. Guess who serves him? Too many in very high places. No one need look far to prove the Bible.

Anyway, I love my true bro.'s & sis's in Christ whether we agree on everything or not & this was a good read for me cuz I gotta really good hardy chuckle, so I'm smiling & signing off. Love to all & blessings. Keep smiling, Jesus wins this for us, thank u Lord.

Thank-you armkelly, Micaah, and thingsabove for your reply.

Yes, I do know there is a lot of hypocrisy in middle east counties as far as morality goes goes, but they do officially stand for morality - like many Christians do, say one thing but do another. Still...I thought surely they would stand for something...give some semblance of morality. SIGH

I do not know whether this is an urban legend but I do not always trust these people who supposedly look into reports to determine their authenticity. But God knows. Are we not glad? In the meantime we are called to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Now how does this look like where the rubber meets the road?

S

Brother the only true freedom we have is found in tbe cross of Jesus Christ. The work of redemption found at Cavary. That freedom is guaranteed sealed with the hood if tbe Lamb himself.

God never guaranteed us freedom through tbe US Constitution. The Constitution is no more inspired than any other man made document. The Constitution is a work of man. Not God. Granted it shows tbe genious of man. But tbe wisdom of God is wiser than man as shown in tbe cross.

It is tbe cross of Christ that matters. Not tbe Constitution nor the Republic nor the Flag. It is the cross of Jesus Christ and nothing else.
The worship of political institutions is idolatry. We have one King. He is Jesus.

Jesus said my kingdom is not of this world. Paul said our citizensp is above. For Christians to acknowledge this in other parts of tbe world brings them imprisonment and death. The early Christians were persecuted because they would not swear allegiance.to Caesar. This implied to worship him as a god. This is why the believers met tbeir death in tbe arena.

I see much rhetoric being echoed here as tbe Constitution and Republic are elevated to godlike status. Almost one feels compelled to worship them. In N. Korea and Eritrea the worship of tbe state is enjoined upon tbe citizens. Believes who worship Jesus are in opposition to the state. They are imprisoned and martyred. The stare controlled by Satan will not tolerate Jesus reigning over them.

This is why I posted earlier that people are trading one man controlled by an antichrist spirit for another. The only sure option is to go to tbe cross and bask in tbe freedom of Christ. His freedom is guaranteed and eternal. His kingdom is everlasting. That cannot be said for tbe Constitution or the Republic. For these are of man and not God.

Mister Kelly.
i chose you to respond to, because its seemed to me, rather ironic, in a tragic sort of way, that a subject of the queen of england, should even deign to rebuke and insult me, over american political matters, on a website, i might add, that PURPORTS to be about Revival.

here's what came from your keyboard:

Perhaps you should simply get a grip on your self-brother. Some of us are not that easily intimidated by threats no matter how subtle they are. Stop being so conceited by your inflated sense of spirituality. We all know the gospel whether you realize it or not. Who gave you authority to tell anyone to “stop or else”. Just because Americans are obsessed with conspiracy theories doesn’t mean the rest of us have developed such a sense of cynicism. Any one can talk. In the end it will come down to reality not talk.

Some people are reasonably concerned about President Obama's spiritual life. Even if you are not.

leaving aside the ugly little accusations of my "sprituality", and rejoinders of what kind of "grip" i have on myself...why dont we step back and consider? shall we?

what is REALLY at the heart of this all, is the 'spirit of babylon', which is the heart and spirit of the 'god of this age'.....it is to say 'empire', this 'spirit' first found lodging in egypt, God found His man in Moses, who led God's people OUT into the Land, they failed God, so He took them into babylon, where that dark spirit of empire found lodging once again.

then the spirit of babylon, leapt to athens, and then found its potentcy in rome, at the Time of Messiah's coming. this again is the spirit of empire...babylon.

using the 'religionists' of the day, the pharisees, in conjunction with the servants of rome, their legions, Messiah Jesus was crucified, tortured, but in God's Love, Messiah was raised from the dead, His Blood as the Last Paschal Lamb, and the Holy Spirit, knit together a New Thing, the Church, the Body of Christ...hemmed in on all sides, by Jewish orthodoxy, by greek 'philosphy', by roman military might....yet it grew.

One thing, these early Followers of Messiah Jesus, Son of God, DID NOT do, was to tie themselves to the rebellion that was gathering steam IN Jerusalem, to counter that vast empire called rome, using carnal weapons. Of course, they were smashed, Jerusalem destroyed....but the Body of Christ, His Church was not.....and despite the best efforts of rome, this spirit of babylon, to destroy it.....they did not.

so the accuser...notice that word, 'accuser', one of satan's many names and guises, he realizes, 'i cant beat this thing....this Church...so maybe, what i'll do....IS JOIN IT'....and thus was born, the church of rome, the "holy roman church"...and a literal hell fell upon the earth, idolatry, murder, rape, conquest, the crusades, inquisitions, the dark ages. i wont belabor the history, its too painful.

and after some zigs and zags, this spirit of babylon comes to roost in london, the british empire, and what was born out of that? the "church" of england, another 'synagogue of satan'....haunt of every unclean murderous spirit roaming the globe...if you doubt what i testify, who then is the proclaimed "head" of this unholy 'church'.

But God will brook no rivals, so a few centuries have to pass by, before an entire generation of brits are cut down in the trenches of world war 1, and then another, further humiliated, by the fire wreaked upon it by the nazi's, ...and all this climaxed in the final humiliation of the 'power and might' of the british military being forced from their occupation of the Holy Land of Israel by a rag tag band of Jewish guerillas....and i do find it delicious irony that the british empire was forced from India as well, by the leadership of a tiny man in a robe, named Ganhdi. (Don't tell me God doesnt have a sense of humor.)

now right at this time, 1947-48, the spirit of babylon came HERE to america, and set up shop in washington DC, the national security act of 1948 was 'passed', which created the 'dept of defense', the central intelligence agency....and we were OFF to the races...the republic is gone, empire is here, the spirit of babylon is now HERE, and what men of darkened hearts will do, is the same they been led to do, everywhere this 'spirit' has come to rest, which is, very soon, you will see the "church of america", some whore church, where these men will wrap an idol, call it "jesus", in the american flag, and if you dont bow a knee to this craven image, yes and amen, all its doctrines of demons, you will be persecuted, hounded, tortured and killed.

dispute me all you desire, its doesnt matter to me, just remember this, one day.......we all stand before the Judgement Seat...or the threshing floor, wherever The Son of God, seperates the sheep from the goats.

i take your insults, and Bills, as a Gift from God...and any future insults, they are a sign to me, that i testify true. God have mercy on us all.
