Setting spiritual milestones

V
vivmeeraj

Do we set spiritual milestones in our personal lives? That could be one very important step forward to victorious Christian life.

When we look at ourselves through the word of God, He would give us an insight on our spiritual state. I am not talking about a general acceptance that ends up in admitting 'I am a sinner', but about light on a certain area. When we fall short of grace, do we really seek it?

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. (Matt 7:7)

For those who seek, find and pray about that, God gives victory through grace. Let us move forward from dead religiosity to true spirituality. Let us pray for each other, let us have true fellowship and concern. Let us have the humility to receive grace.

Praise & glory be to God.

I like Lk 11:9-13 has a compliment to the passage you cited

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Pro_29:18 "Where there is no vision, the people perish..."

First and foremost, we must have a vision of Christ and His Body before anything else.
