Tomorrow is my mother's funeral in Switzerland. While I have assurance of my mother's faith in Christ, my three brothers reject anything they consider "religious." It is my prayer that a true salvation message will be preached at the funeral (a God-sized request, considering the state of the Swiss Reformed church) and that the Lord will open up hearts and ears to hear and understand.
I will not be able to attend the funeral for distance reasons, but I praise the Lord that in his great mercy He has allowed me to travel there and visit with my mother two month ago, for the first time in six years. My mother turned ninety years old, nine days before her passing. She is now with her Saviour.
