Manually restoring vides on SermonIndex

Saints,

I am considering to restore the videos on the actual sermonindex.net site using the Archive.org repository, We already have 3500+ videos up there of the 5000 that youtube deleted.

Does this video play well for saints?

A Man Of God by Leonard Ravenhill - Part 1

It is in html5 video that browsers support. Let me know if it plays for you.

Yes, it loaded fully into my cache in about 20 seconds.

I updated it with a link to download the video in mp4 format:

I got this error message when I tried to follow the download link.

"Sorry, but the page you are looking for has not been found. Try checking the URL for errors, then hit the refresh button."

EDIT: The video in the browser looks ok but the audio is really distorted so that I can't understand it.

I am listening to it now, worked fine for me (and my pc is a bit slow and glitchy today...and I am in the country and have slower internet, too, I think).

Saints,

A few have committed to start new youtube channels and upload many sermonindex videos. If this interests you to help establish a youtube channel email me: sermonindex@gmail.com and I will give instructions.

May the Lord allow these messages to spread even further and glorify His Name.

here is an example of one brother starting a channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCvNnPVPAJlEyLTZQHW0ELw/featured

do SUBSCRIBE to it.

I pulled it up on just a 4G cell phone and it played well.

It worked fine on my phone as well.
Greg will you have lost any videos or are they all backed up somewhere ?

S

We might have lost about 20-30% of them but I believe we can restore many of these also.

It did take many years to assemble the 5000 videos. May God give grace and even allow the Youtube channel to be restored for a short season to copy all the videos off-line and to other servers.

Okay thanks Greg, Ive just realized you had posted this on another thread.

It seems outrageous that YouTube would delete the account and all the content without forewarning so that the videos could be backed up. They could have blocked people from seeing the videos without blocking access by the creator of the channel. Seems someone at YouTube has too much time on their hands. They allow outrageous filth but not sermons. It's a sign of the times but I pray they will see the error of their ways and reconsider because it is a great way to reach a lost world.

"And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus."
